I'm terrified of the Alien from Alien, ants, and the closet monster.
I'm also afraid of black widow spiders, because they're everywhere out here, and one crawled on me once.
They're pretty nasty girls, if they bite you.

Spiders of any kind scare the hell out of me. Centipedes too.

People, for the most part. bwahahahah.
But seriously...bugs, any kind...and not so much death itself...but just dying too young, before I've had a chance to do some of the things I'd like to.

Public speaking, spiders, heights, gangs of flesh-eating zombies.

At this time in my life my biggest fear is for the health of my baby. For the most part it is snakes and dying.

dragonflies and heights are my only two "phobias". I suppose public speaking scares me too, but not as much.

I fear not being able to let all blessings flow. God is a pretty good buddy when you're fighting vampires and such, you know.

Heights are scary for me.

As are spiders/bugs.

But mostly I am most scared of bad things happening to my family. I can put up with the rest if these are OK.

Spiders I like... but centipedes... *shivers*

Those things are brutal. I once saw a video of a big red one eating a mouse. One of the most disturbing things I've ever seen. The centipede bit the mouse, and once it was paralyzed from the venom began to eat the mouse's brain. While it was apparently still alive! Oh god...

Spiders, since I was kid. I remember the last summer when I was reading at bed, my bro came to my room and saids "what the fuck is that?" I looked to the floor......there was the biggest spider I've ever see, so I throwed the boock i was reading (a Ken Follet's tipical bestseller) and smashed that thing ....but still moves, SHIT that night I could not sleep thinking on spiders

i'm kinda closterphobic, so i think my worst fear would be being buried alive. that would suck

as for movies........i'm not afraid of any monsters they come up with.

ugh, that's a good one. Although if I was unconscious and remained that way, I guess I woldn't know the difference. But to be awake or wake up and be buried alive, horribly frightening. Especially if they put spiders and centipedes in there with me. Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I'd probrbaly go completely insane before I died.

Only real fear I have is of loss. Most painful feeling there is.

Sharks, and my biggest fear of all is vomiting....I would rather die or be bit by a Giant spider or whatever but vomiting of any kind is not cool.

I am EXACTLY the same way. The main reason I'm on zoloft is that I would freak out about vomiting in the most random situations. I would rather have anything else happen to me.

If you've woken up a bit foggy as much as I have you get used to the whole vomiting thing.

Good to know IM not the only person, but it use to control my life, and it still does, just not as bad as it use too. They tried giving me Zoloft, but I was too afraid that the pills would make me throw up so i never took them.

I have to agree with pinkfloyd on the baby thing. i am terrified of anything happening to my daughter. i also have a horrendous fear of disfigurement. I routinely have nightmares about losing one or more front teeth. (exceot that i dont really dream anymore....:()

I also have the zombie phobia. Sounds silly, but i have a real fear of them...

Tieing in to the disfigurment fear, i am horrified by the thought of being bitten by a Brown Recluse and getting rotting necrosis. the thought of a body part rottin goff of me uncontollably is just too much.

Also see the German movie Schramm for one that moves... and it has a tongue.

Sometimes it's in bed with Schramm, sometimes it's in the drawer - go figure.

Heights....
Spiders and any bug that bites...(Not really scared of them, just don't like them)
Losing a loved one...
Failing at protecting a loved one...

I have a fear of closing my eyes in the shower. When I have to wash my face, I rinse it as quickly as possible because for some reason I'm sure one day something's going to be in my face looking back at me.
I never let other people in the bathroom while I'm showering either. If I'm in the bathtub, no problem. But not the shower.

I don't like to look into the mirror when it's dark
I hate heights
biggest fears are being burned to death and slowly forgetting everything I've learned and not remembering those I love.

Cockroaches... I can deal with spiders & snakes, but cockroaches are just nasty. Oh, and things that go bump in the night that aren't comming from the room next to me. :D

For movies, anything that jump out of nowhere. I mean, if there's suspense music I'll know and its not as scary, but whenyour just sitting there and something pops out, your like "Holy shite!!!" and your adrenaline soars.

ditto. i think its funny that my fear is based in fantasy, but it makes sense in that we has humans fear the unknown. also i still get the chills swimming in the ocean after watching jaws. i basically like to the piss out of myself for shits and giggles.

I never let other people in the bathroom while I'm showering either. If I'm in the bathtub, no problem. But not the shower. Now you've got this song stuck in my head:

I'm just an average man
With an average life
I work from nine to five
Hey, hell, I pay the price

All I want is to be left alone
In my average home
But why do I always feel
Like I'm in the twilight zone

And I always feel like
Somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy
Whoa...oh oh
I always feel like
Somebody's watching me
Tell me, is it just a dream?

When I come home at night
I bolt the door real tight
People call me on the phone
I'm trying to avoid
But can the people on TV see me
Or am I just paranoid?

When I'm in the shower
I'm afraid to wash my hair
'Cause I might open my eyes
And find someone standing there

People say I'm crazy
Just a little touched
But maybe showers remind me
Of 'Psycho' too much
That's why

I always feel like
Somebody's watching me
And I have no privacy
Whoa...oh oh
I always feel like
Somebody's watching me
Who's playin' tricks on me?

(Who's watching me?)
I don't know anymore
Are the neighbors watching me?
(Who's watching?)
Well, is the mailman watching me?
(Tell me, who's watching)
And I don't feel safe anymore
Oh, what a mess
I wonder who's watching me now
(Who?)
The IRS?

I just realized I have a fear of Grant. Or at least pissing him off. I use to thinkitwaseither fun or funny, but now that he smashed the bathroom door to bits because I told him I wanted to sleep in... I'm afraid that next time it'll be my head that get smashed :p

That scares me too. And to make it worse my boyfriend/roommate/whatever he is this week likes to come into the bathroom when I'm taking a shower and reach his arm in, so when I do open my eyes, there's this hand inches away from my face. God I hate it when he does that. Fucking asshole.

The thing about the ocean is that.......well, there ARE things, really BIG things, swimming around down there, and some of them could gobble you up! Sharks DO eat swimmers on occasion.

It's creepy...not the idea that there are hungry fish down there, but the idea that we don't really think about it, we just run out and "Wheeeee!" we jump in the water. Well, actually, I don't anymore, personally. But think about it...that's a pretty big ocean. We don't know about everything that's swimmin' around in there. Heck, just watching "Jaws" or "Jaws 2" is enough to freak me out.
