I guess people's definition of electronica varies, but I always liked Stereolab and some of the stuff on Thrill Jockey records. Aphex Twin was (is?) pretty good too.

Boards of Canada and Squarepusher are fairly similar to Aphex Twin, so you may like them.

Aphex twin is THE prime example. Ive been listening to a lot of Autechre, it relaxes me while im surfing the web and such.

Does Evangelis count as electronica?
That's the only thing I could think of.
The soundtrack from Blade Runner.

one of the grandfathers of electronica are Tangerine Dream ...
they've done a lot of interesting stuff ... mindscapes to let your brain wander around in... they became more commercial eventually ..doing a lot of soundtrack work.
philip glass and synergy are a couple of other 'old timers' ... and kraftwerk to some extent (although there are sometimes vocals)

Maybe Japan, they are more techno pop but have some cool songs.
