Just to start something new...does anyone out there know of any horror flicks that have a deadly soundtrack...personally, I like "From Dusk to Dawn" only because Tito and Tarantula do a song that has Salma Hayek dancing on the table...
"After Dark" has to be my favourite song from a horror flick, but not too sure of the total soundtrack.

'The Wickeds' had a good soundtrack IMO....Kind of heavy though. Didn't care for the movie, but the metal made it worth it. Check it out.
And deffinetly 'Dead & Breakfast'. :D

D&B was great, Suspiria's as wonderful (Goblin), I liked Phantasm's too. I wish the Queen of the Damned ST had the version of Forsaken with Davis' haunting vocals from the movie. Instead it has a harder, less atmospheric sound with Distrubed doing it. Do you like songs or scores better? Carpenter's themes are almost always a good listen too.

I enjoy songs rather than scores...if a movie has just one song that I like, I'll buy the whole album just to hear the song.

I liked the soundtrack from the Dawn Of The Dead remake because it had Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine on it.

Any work by Fabio Frizzi and Claudio Simonetti for Lucio Fulci and Dario Argento always deserves a mention.

It also had Johnny Cash, which makes it a winner in my book.

i think the soundtrack to Freddy vs Jason is pretty sweet.........especially if you like metal.
there are two soundtracks that I think totally outshine their movies (i.e., suck=ass film, great soundtrack) and both feature AC/DC:
Last Action Hero (AC/DC - Alice in Chains, Queensryche, Megadeath!)
and, in the 'horror' category:
Maximum Overdrive (the soundtrack is worth it for the two muscial pieces by Angus and Malcolm - classics!)

Yeah, Maximum Overdrive! I had forgotten about that one too.
Awesome music.....except for the ree-ree-ree parts when the trucks attack.

hmm - what sound do your trucks make when they come to life and surround you in a gas station? Mine always go "ree-ree-ree" - funny huh?

There's no time for us
There's no place for us
What is this thing that fills our dreams
Yet slips away from us?
Who wants to live forever
Who wants to live forever
Here we are
Born to be kings
We're the princes of the universe
Here we belong
Fighting to survive
In a world with the darkest power
We've got to be the rulers of you all
