For those that don't want to read through the article...I heard this on the news this morning.
An 8 year old girl with her brother (14) and father visited a shopping centre in Perth, WA. The girl went to the bathroom on her own, didn't come out.
The brother and father went looking for her and knocked on doors, no answer...they saw a suspicious looking guy exiting a disabled bathroom in a hurry...the brother gave chase to no avail, and returned to find his sisters dead, naked body.

The suspect was so fucked in the head that he hung around in a female clothing shop nearby watching the police activity.
He was eventually apprehended and is being charged accordingly.
21 Years old.
Police examination shows the girl was likely punched, raped, then strangled to death.

All within 5-10 minutes.

This is fucked up in so many ways...I wouldn't usually be in support of death penalty, but in cases like this, I say they should make an exception.

Malignancy, pure and simple. Among wolves, he would be torn apart by his pack due to such weakness of character and pathetic genetics. Why don't we take a lesson from our relatives within the animal kingdom. Other creatures that live amongst us don't tolerate that kind of behaviour in their groups, why should we?

It also goes to show that the human imagination is far less frightning that human deeds.

Put him down for justice in the torture, murder, and rape of an innocent and for the safety of others. I see no need to make it quick and painless either.

In situations like this I don't see the need for the arrest or trial, kill the piece of utterly useless shit, preferably in an extremely painful manner.

I think in the case of highly sensitive crimes like paedophilia, rape and murder it is a natural reaction for angry people to respond with wreckless proposals. In the UK in particular, this is nurtured by the tabloid press who know their readers are stupid enough to follow their lead.

I'll defend any man's right to a fair trial.

If he is found guilty, in this kind of case I would suggest the girl's family should be allowed to administer justice in any way they see fit.

I posted that just after I read what happened, I was a little ticked off about it and that's why I had written what I did. He should be given a fair trial and if found guilty, he should be put to death. My view of the death penalty varies from case to case, this is one of those cases I believe warrants it. I fully respect that you're against it and hope that you'll respect my opinion of it, but then again, why would you respect the opinion of a fucking moronic asshole.

Things can go alot smoother when you calmly ask a question to fully understand someone else's views rather than just snap on 'em from the get go.

You've made some valid points. I have to disagree with your use of Witchcraft and heresy, because executing people for those crimes is a sort of "thought police" situation.

I think more of what you're looking at is a mob of white men taking a black man out of his house and hanging him on the presumption of raping a white woman. In this situation, the black man never had a chance to go to trial, and if he did, it was a trial with a jury made soley of white males

I guess I'm really disturbed about this case because it did involve the rape and murder of a child. Truth be told, Elvis, I really don't know where I stand on the issue of the "Death Penalty." It's a hard issue to face, because for one, two wrongs have never made a right, and two, who are we to decide between life and death, even though the criminal made that decision. It's a very tough concept to face and decide.

However, I would love to hear how you think this criminal should be punished. I'm intrigued, because you may have a really good idea for punishment. I'm always up for other people's solutions to criminal behavior.

A big part of me is against the death penalty. People who commit crimes like these are sick, and studying them could help find ways to treat people. However, a lot of people would say that taking a person and probing them for the rest of their life is as bad if not worse than executing them; so I'm kind of running into hypocritism.

This is one of the most fucked up things I have heard about in a long time. I just can't imagine what that girl went through, or what her family and friends are still going through, and will go through for the rest of their lives. Nothing will make that any better for them.

It is damn hard to feel any compassion or mercy for the perpetrator of this crime. I don't think society can take the risk of trusting him with any sort of freedom in the future.
