uncle sam is not a bad horror flick. it was not that bad, concidering what other people said about it. to me it was better than cry-wolf. at least u had action with uncle sam.:)

I'm a sucker for those type of films.

I concur.

I was thinking of getting this. Lustig's flicks usually have something great about them (anyone own any of his pornos?). I loved Relentless so I'm gonna check this out.

Pretty fuckin' lame. But it was good trashy fun! I expected way more violence and gore so in that regard I was disappointed.

i dont think i turned it off because i didnt like it .. i think i was just too tired ..

i dont have a lot of little idiosycracies but one i do have is that if i get 20 min into a movie and have to stop it for any reason .. it takes me years to pick it up and start it again ..

i have no idea why

maybe you just lose interest in it, and your mind's diverted to other movies in your huge collection. :p

neways, the flick was good. Decent for a watch IMO. But it should have had a bit more action, for lovers of pacy movies like me.

It didn't have the charm of Dr Giggles..... it just didn't do the comedy orientated lighthearted slasher very well at all.
I like my slashers to be nasty minded sleazefests or at least have something unique about them (the ending of Sleepaway Camp comes to mind).
Considering Lustig's previous work this is a copout. The killer marine was a little bit too close to the Maniac Cop and handled a hell of a lot weaker. But these aren't the times for starie of military and perhaps this was encouraged to be dumbed down for distribution. <----- but that point isn't exactley relevant seeing as this was made in what? 1996?
I did think this was a fun movie but the more I discuss it the more I hate it.
