god what a waste of time ..
i made about 160$ starting at 6:30 (setting up) till packing up around 2:00pm
most people drove up, saw that they were books, curled their lips in disgust, and tore on past.
'thems nuthin but books !!! I's hate books ! thems put funny ideers in yer hed. Should all be burnt !!"
the people who are readers went out of their minds - as i charged only 25 cents for paperbacks and 50 cents for hard covers (if anyone bought more than 1 book i threw in lots of freebies)
still .. i had to see what would happen.
on the up side i found a used book store that are going to take everything i have for credit so i'll probably get about $400.00 credit .. the guy has some rare/collectables I'm going to spend it all on.
biggest bonus .. i get my house back .. now i can buld my library.
for people who expressed interest : i kept back all the horror so when i get a chance i'll list it in here as previously requested.

That would be a great idea, Urge. Even though I've lost a lot of interest in horror fiction in the past few months, I'd love to see what you have.

If I lived anywhere near Toronto, you know I would have been there! I'll be keeping an eye out for your list.

so i'll be spending it all on collectables..
as far as the horror goes .. i held it all back so i'll post a list as soon as i get a chance ..

I meant to say non-fiction horror stuff. If there is I'd be interested. Trade you some DVDs or something.
$500 credit sounds pretty good! So you made a decent profit?
I missed out on the big 24 hour booksale they had over here. A massive theatre filled with books for 50c and magazines for next to nothing. Its to raise money to keep the theatre open. I usually score some great stuff there and sell it on later and make quite a bit and manage to add some goodies to my collection.

I've been snapping them up if they turn up cheap. Some great pictures in them but some of the writing is total crap.

Do you have anything that would be up my alley? Assuming you know me well enough to know my alley...
Or anything left about filmmaking?
