What IS that movie?!

Hey all...

i'm a new member here and i thought i'd say...hey!

and i have...a question. there's this horror movie i watched a long long time ago with my mom. she got me into most of the horror stuff i watch now adays. and it was about...as far as i can remember, this girl, and she read cheap horror paperbacks...and the stuff she reads about comes true or something...there's this guy who stalks her and he's a character from the book she's reading...and at one point she reads that he freezes his mouth and cuts his lips off for this girl he loves. and some sort of mutant dog becomes involved somehow. and i think at the end she kills him by destroying the book or something. does ANYONE know this movie? any help is apreciated....

and thanks so much for the info! i've been looking for that movie forEVER! no one i know has ever heard of it. now i'm gonna have to get it just to see how much i actually remember. I'm actually watching ..of all things...phantom of the opera at the moment...the one with claud reins...ya the guy in my pic...i know it's not a horror movie in any sense of the word...unless you hate opera and 40's movie musicals...they really should have just taken 'the phantom of..." out of the title... since most of it is about the opera. but i'm a sucker for that crap. chandelier falling has to be one of the best parts though :p

ok, i'm done ranting. and thanks so much again for the movie info...my soul is finaly at piece...
