Atreyu?

A guy I work with is really into this band, and said I should check them out.

Any imput on them? I have a few of their songs downloading at the moment, but I havent listened to any yet.

Well Im listening to "Right Side of the Bed" right now...it's OK. The chorus is good, but the vocals really get on my nerves through the rest of it. That sort of growling/screaming....not my style. They dont seem too bad though.

Ive gone through a bunch of their stuff now, and this basically apiles to all of it. The music is good, some of the vocals are good, but damn does the screaming get annoying.

Im really likeing their cover of You Give Love a Bad Name though...

Atreyu fuckin' rocks dude. I never used to like em' either, but their new album "A Death Grip on Yesterday" is a lot better. Less growl/scream action, more singing... still same old kick-ass guitars.

They're ok in my opinion as well. The lyrics aren't bad, the music is good, and he has a decent voice when he's not screaming. But it gets old after awhile. Not something I think I'd buy...

:D haha...that reminds me of when I met my boyfriend's cousin the first time...I had an Atreyu shirt on and he said "I never was a big Neverending Story fan." :p Anyway, I love Atreyu.

Just listened to Demonology & Heartache...not one of their best songs IMO, but damn! The guitar on that one is incredible!
