Not that you have to respond to this thread (I mean, Jesus Christ, I started it), but I just wanted to let you guys know that, I've broken ground with my novel. I've gotten into it, and I know what I'm doing, where I'm going. It's just a matter of getting there and fleshing everything out.
I'm pretty excited. I've waited my whole little life for this.:)

^Ditto. All I can say from my own very limited writing experiences is that writing a novel can be one of the most frustrating things. So hang in there, aight?
Can't wait to read it. Are there witches involved?

Congrats Haunted! Best of luck to ya.
Lemme know when you get it finished and I'll gladly check it out. (Provided it's not a fluffy romance novel aimed at chicks or something of that nature.)

i had a book in me once . . . and damn did it hurt (remember kids - only use paperbacks!)
Congrats Haunted - i think the key is to enjoy the writing process and not think too much about the final product (until you're done with the first draft)
And, as for STE, he's my absolutely favorite Rennaissance Fairy!

Thank you all.:) You guys...you old so and so's.
Incidentally, I hope a never sell-out and make this into a movie.
1. Too many "real people/spirits/deities
2. Too many characters that other people have a copyright on that are not named but may have a speaking role, because I am a damned dirty bitch...and besides, what author doesn't do that?
3. One of you might appear, and say...what if Newb was played by someone like Orlando Bloom? Were I Newb, I'd be pissed.
