Murderdolls - Dead In Hollywood
That's the only one one that comes to mind that's horror related.

The man speaks the truth. Add some Calabrese, Misfits and maybe some of Alice Cooper's more horror themed tunes, and you have one rockin' party.

Wouldn't you agree that "Haunted Cathouse" is the supreme song for a horror party? It's so damn...well, Halloweeny.

Aside from what's already been mentioned, try:
Balzac
the Cramps

^^ nah John Carpenter or the Goblin soundtracks would be sweet for a party. Shit it'd be a hell of a lot more interesting that the Murderdolls or some of the of the crap mentioned in here.
Go for the Return Of The Living Dead soundtrack especially if you can track down the picture disc version with samples from the movie. Perhaps one of those monster mash compilations (I'm pretty sure Rhino Records would've brought one out).
I hate modern horror-punk. The Misfits and The Cramps were the only bands that did it any justice. All the newbie ones are just really shit imitators. Nekromantix and Calabrese are total horseshit.......

Why would you say that?
Nekromantix isn't that new (first album being in the 80s) and their earlier stuff is fast as shit. They've got catchy tunes, and they can slap a bass pretty damn well. A lot of their lyrics are very creative.
I'm sure you've heard their older stuff, and not just their newer shit on, say, the Punk-O-Rama comps...but I can't see your comment being relevant to their older stuff.

No, even though I personally dont agree, I can understand where you're coming from as far as Calabrese goes. Though I wouldnt call them "shit imitators", they are obviously very heavily influenced by the Misfits and other such bands.
But Nekromantix? If you dont like them, thats a matter of opinion...but why lump them into the same category? Totally different style, IMO.

I see them as the imitators and don't like 'em. But whatever. Like the TV program was called.....

How appropriate that you quote 2 songs from their most popular, and one of their newest, album.
Try some of these:
-Haunted Cathouse
-S/M
-Howling at the Moon
-Dead Moonwalkin'
-Hellbound
You can't judge a band by one CD. So don't call them lame because of two songs.
