Hi all! My name’s luigi and i work for an italian local journal (sorry i don’t speak english very well) for whom i write about cinema. I’m writing a book about cult movies and for that reason i’m interested to know what cinephiles like. If you’re cinephiles i’d ask you to let me ask to you some questions. Bye!

Could you please call it something else than "Cinephiles" and maybe somone will answer you.
Sounds like a fucking sickness, such as necrophiles, pedophiles etc...

A 'phile' - or 'phelia' - is the love of (or obsession with) something. It is not exclusive to crimes like necro or paedophilia, although these words themselves have become kind of anti-vogue in recent years through newspaper exploitation.
As an example, a paediatrician was attacked in England because the mob interpreted the title of his job as: "nonce". Cause = the gutter press.
