I would say any film that had bad CG, but you said make-up...so let's see. Some Troma movies have bad effects, but I think they really cover them well in editing. I mean, they use watermelons with smiley faces drawn on them when they need an exploding head. But you can never really tell b/c they have a great editor.

That's one of my favorite anecdotes in Lloyd Kaufman's book! All you need to explode a head is a melon. Anyone can do it. I love that homemade, DIY spirit!

Yeah, it's so cost-effective you can't help but like it. Kaufman is a funny guy, and it's usually when he's not trying to be. It's when he's serious that I find him the funniest.

I remember seeing a zombie movie once, it was called Ozone
and well, that make up sucked, in the end some dude sticks his hand inside a zombies belly and you can actually see that it is sort of (dunno the english name of the material) white light material

Another terrible zombie effects movie was I Was a Teenage Zombie. They just painted the guy green. How lame is that?

if anyone on this board had seen zombie lake you will agree with me on this.. the make up effects sux ass.. and the make up in Nightmare city is bad as well, it is an umberto Lenzi flick and the effects were dissapointing...
This film wins hands down-no contest in so many categories that no other movie can compare www.jasonfarmer.com Check it out and see for yourself.
The guy that did this makes Ed Wood look like George Lucas. LOL
