THE GRAND FINALE OF THE ZOMBIE MOVIES COMPETITION
Its been a great competition, made hugely successful by all the people who have voted in it. Some really hugely popular movies have lost, while some new favorites made way into further rounds. Although, in the end, the 2 finalists are widely regarded as THE movies which have given the horror genre (and zombie sub-genre) a new evolution. Without further ado, lets roll in the FINAL of this competition!!
(Our first finalist comes from a long repute and standing. One of the best-made sequels of all time, its regarded highly by horror fans the world over, and also considered as better than the original sometimes. This finalist took out steamrollers like Land of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Return of the Living Dead and Zombie, with an impressive vote ratio of 31 - 13)

Evil Dead 2 by a long shot. As great as Dawn is, I think it's severely overrated.

its proved once and for all, that no movie can come close to beating Dawn of the Dead in this sub-genre. Single-handedly, it has taken out both the Raimi blockbusters, and has proved to be THE milestone for horror.
I d like to thank each and every one who voted throughout the competition to make it a resounding success, from newb who cast the first vote, to Austin who urged me to cast the final one. I also like to thank BW for his constant inputs and being a source of motivation for me throughout this competition. (Also a word for alky, Dante and Posh for kicking my butt back to senses when I had closed this competition midway)
Thus, crowning our champ, I close this competition. But keep an eye out for a new tournament coming soon, which I m sure you all will love and make it another grand successful one.
