the fangoria lineup is wicked .. but there's almost too much .. its overwhealming.

by the time the Rue Morgue has it's entire guestlist i'm thinking it'll be around 10 guests.

last year (and probably this year too) Rue Morgue combined its festival with the Space Network (sci-fi TV channel) and anime/games/comics so there were actually several more guests that did cross over into the genre somewhat ...

i'm happy with the no. of guests re $$$ as well.. these guys charge 20 - 25$ for an autograph these days ! (thank Ebay for that)

yeah that took me aback too ...

but then i saw all these people when asked : 'who do you want it signed to ? (what's your name?)
and they's day 'just the signature'
...and you realized that they were immediately going to run home and sell it on ebay.

i guess the celebs want in on the action since they're being used as a commodity..

I had not been to a geek convention in years, literally, and went to one about a week ago because I wanted to see Ray Harryhausen and Basil Gogos. It was COOL! Sometimes it's better to give something a rest for a while and then come back to it, I think. I even bought a couple of stupid things I really didn't need...and I got a free "Mission Impossible" hat and pin, too, but I don't wanna wear them. Heck, would you?
