hey, i was wondering what you all think of this show? i'm into watching it, and absolutely love it!!! great stories, excellent kill scenes, it's a show based on real stories of demons, hauntings, urban legends, etc... and, the actors jeffrey dean morgan, jared padalecki and jensen ackles do an excellent acting job... the shows pilot was about when the boys Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles) are little boys, and one night while the younger brother Sam (6 mos. old) is asleep in his crib when his mother checks in on him to find a dark shadow standing over him and screams when then suddenly she is lifted and dragged along the wall, and taken to the ceiling where she bursts into flames and is killed... Meanwhile, their dad John Winchester (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) grabs his infant son and tells the other son Dean (Jensen Ackles), to take his brother outside... Fast forward... the boys are now, in their 20's, and they are chasing demons, ghosts, etc...and trying to find their find father who has gone missing and trying to find and kill the demon who killed their mother... Well, just a little heads up about the tv series on the WB... season 1 is over, so you'll have to wait to tune in again this fall unless of course they run the reruns over the summer... It's a pretty awesome tv show...Be sure to tune in, if you haven't already :) I definitely give it a thumbs up :)

I really like this show but WB messed up when they decided to run it against My Name is Earl and CSI....grrrr

Earl is the first TV comedy I have liked in a looooooooooooooooooong time..so it wins.

Yes, the first season of SN will be out on DVD in September 2006, and I think the 27th of May it comes out on DVD in the UK...I'll go double check my info., and then re-post it here :)

I seriously doubt there'll be a second season of this. I mean, they've used all the good urban ghost stories already. The show itself is brilliant though.:)

Same with me. I didn't get hooked until the 5th-to-last episode. Plus I missed the last 30 minutes of the season finale while watching my Lakers blow game 6 against Phoenix. Great show, though. I'll be looking forward to season 2.

Amazing show. But being in the UK the first half of the first season has been released, and 'im not watching the second half until it comes out on DVD in august.

What a show though, each episode is as good as some high budget horrors. And cummon, they can not run out of ideas, I mean, there are so many...Well, i hope they don't run out, i will be pretty pissed.

Ive only seen one episode, but it seemed pretty good.

It was set in a haunted asylum...I liked it, but found that it was VERY derivitive of the House on Haunted Hill remake.
