You really love robocop, haha. It was a good flick, but, not my favorite. I liked the crazy guy at the beginning, tormenting the man with the shotgun before blowing his hand off.

I thought it was an all-around amazng film...it had everything a good action movies needs: A great hero, and equally awesome villain, a few plot twists, great actors, crazy violence, and a simple but really cool ending. Love it.
I own the sequel, but I still havent had a hance to watch it. Is it anywhere near as good as #1?

Not really, and part 3 is just "what the hell?"
But they're all watchable IMO

Top 10 was too hard, plus some genres were marginal so I just listed my top 20. They're in no particular order. Some might not exactly be Action though.

There are so many...
I would add a lot like Leon: The Professional, 7 Deadly Sins, The Killer, Hard Boiled, Dirt Harry, Showdown in Little Tokyo, Big Trouble in Little China, Blade, The Mummy, Indiana Jones (any of them really) and plenty more that people would argue with (quality and some genre heh). Great picks though, has me craving an action flick now although I think I'll go with something older...

I liked it. Some didn't.
It was non-stop action through and through.

I thought it was decent...nothing amazing, but a good enough way to kill an hour and a half. Really straight-forward plot, and action packed from beginning to end. Worth renting.
Now, I personally dont count westerns as action movies. If I did, my list would be alot different:
1. The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly [1966]
2. Robocop [1987]
3. A Fistful of Dollars [1964]
4. X-Men [2000]
5. Once Upon a Time in the West [1968]
6. Assault on Precinct 13 [1976]
7. The Shooting [1967]
8. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen [2003]
9. Spiderman [2002]
10. Hang 'em High [1968]

4.) Batman (Keaton version)

9.) Unleashed
10.) Pulp Fiction

The 1989 Batman was hardly an action movie IMO... It was more crime drama... Very little fighting.

Yah, but you could say that for Reservoir Dogs, which was on your list.
Touche.

Reservoir had more than batman!
Or at least 50X the deaths, haha. It was more action than drama IMO.

Well, I disagree. I think RD was as much drama as Batman. Most of the main plot took place inside a single room. I'd DEFINATELY consider it a "crime drama".

I agree. I love Reservoir Dogs, and hell, I'd consider it an action flick.
All I'm saying is if RD is an action movie, than Batman is, too.

2. Four Brothers

4. Hostage
5. Sin City
6. A History of Violence

Well #1 action film SHOULD be Commando, purely for the last 25 minutes of the film.

Oh please. It was good but not THAT great IMO. But I can see why some people would think so.

The rest of the movie is soooo boring. Last 20 minutes, I think Arnold kills about 80 people though. It's great!
I could do a top 10 list of just Arnold action movies.
I forgot Predator and that actually probably would be on my overall top 10. Plus True Lies, Total Recall, all the Terminators, Conan, Running Man... Ahnold rules!
Reservoir Dogs
The Warriors
Con Air
Die Hard
Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever
The Patriot
Braveheart
Escape From New York
Dirty Harry/Magnum Force
Enter the Dragon
Force Five
Gladiator
Lone Wolf McQuade
Raiders of the Lost Ark
First Blood
Road Warrior
Tango & Cash

Yeah, Running Man's another one of those awesome Arnold movies where ya either "get it" or ya don't. Fat opera singers in diapers with Christmas lights? Are you fucking kidding me? YEAH I'll watch it.

That clip inspired me to watch that movie and when I did, I was severely disappointed.
It was pretty good, but waaaay too much of a Matrix rip off for me to ever like it as much as most people seem to.
