Are there any other dark comedy fans on here? What are your favorites? I'm going with a pair from Slater: Heathers and Very Bad Things. Also, The Cable Guy is brilliant in my eyes. I know quite a few people hate it though.

Cable Guy is excellent, I think it was one of Jim Carrys (spelling) best films.

Yeah all 3 of those VH1 shows were great. Also I forgot "Cecil B. Demented" for the dark comedy section. If anyone hasn't seen that go rent it I think it's one of Waters best, Steven Dorff plays a great part as well.

Awww, yeah John Waters! Now you're talking! One of my absolute faves. I found Serial Mom, Polyester, Desperate Living, and Female Trouble to be my faves by him, but he really can do no wrong in my book. His books are hilarious too. Other cool dark comedies, Heathers, Eating Raoul, Forbidden Zone, Freaked, Frankenhooker. I really like this genre. I liked the cable guy too.

Freaked is a damn funny movie. Bill and Ted are both in that flick.

Yeah, Bill S. Preston Esquire is the main character while Ted Theodore Logan cameos as Ortiz the Dog Boy. It's a classic.

It was directed by Alex Winter (aka Bill) and Mr. T also plays a bearded lady!

I havent seen her in any other movies just I was up one night late and I saw this movie on and it caught my eye... she is a down to earth type of girl ya know what I mean... man through out the movie she started changing and turning into this very sexy attractive woman ... I actually bought this movie the next day after seeing it, just because of her.. the movie is good too.. :D

Jawbreaker, with Rose Mcgowan was pretty dark and funny. A newer 'heathers' type of movie.

Anyone seen Swimming with Sharks starring Kevin Spacey? Funny.
Heathers was my intro to dark comedy. I think I was eight the first time I watched it. My mum had a fit. Classic dark comedy.
I've seen The Secretary. Pretty nifty flick.
I once wrote a story-lette of two vampires cracking jokes about the people they just masacred. It was pretty funny...a little gory, but we're not afraid of that.

I forgot about Swimming With Sharks--and it's in my collection. Good one Haunted. Funny movie, and then the tone changes rather abruptly. Kinda catches you off-guard.
