DESCRIPTION: With the apocalyptic theme of 28 DAYS LATER and the over-the-top gore factor of your favorite B-movie scream-fest, ZOMBIE NIGHT delivers squirm-inducing suspense and stomach-turning, gross-out effects. In the aftermath of WWIII, a group of survivors come to the disturbing realization that the horrifying decimation of the world, caused by chemical warfare, is the least of their troubles. A nasty side effect of the chemicals causes dead bodies to reanimate, feeding upon the flesh of the living. As the body count rises, the survivors struggle to find a way out, while the camera does not shy away from the carnage that ensues.

No, No, NO!
This movie is a dog! Do not buy/rent/watch this trash until/unless you've seen EVERY other zombie movie in existance and for some inexplicable reason you're going to die unless you see another one. Please do yourself a favor and skip Zombie Night.
Yes, it's got some decent gore effects, but that doesn't save this train wreck of a film. "Decent" does NOT equal "Good" Decent means adequate. Nothing special. Not bad. Slightly better than average, but nowhere near the best. There was one shot in this whole move that made me sit up and take notice. Other than that one shot, the fx were pretty much what you'd expect for a zombie movie.
It's the acting and the story that tank this howling abortion of a movie. Normally I give low-budget movies a pass on acting. I can't act, and I've always assumed that its something reasonably difficult to do. For that reason, I don't hate a movie just because the acting is bad unless it is SO bad that it distracts from the story.
Well... this is it. This movie is a prime example of acting that is so bad that it draws attention away from the plot.
And the plot isn't much as it is! Yeah, all movies have stupid people doing stupid things, but this movie is so jam-packed with illogical and unrealistic decisions that even an above-average imagination can't stretch far enough to accept them as remotely believable.
Bad acting, I can forgive. But a bad plot is a cardinal sin in my book.
Redeeming qualities:
1) Decent effects
2) T&A
3) Not a long wait until the fun starts.
4) A few surprises in the story.
However:
1) Acting so bad you'll focus on IT instead of the plot
2) Stupid script.
3) STUPID SCRIPT
With a script re-write and real actors, this one could have been a winner. But until then, please pass this one by.
Watching "Dawn of the Dead" (either one) for the 400th time is better than watching this one once.

Overly harsh, it wasn't nearly as bad as you cut it out to be. It's definently worth a rent...
