Have you ever seen May?
I really liked this movie.
Strange and odd with sick and twisted ways.
Some of you may or may not like it.
I loved it.

CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL.
Um, to stay on topic here... May was alright. There were a few things that bugged me... Like the lesbian friend... The scene where she says "I've gotta hit that." Ya know, talking about the chick she had with her... That struck me as really, really lame and unrealistic. Not a bad flick for a first time director though.

I enjoyed it enough that I am looking forward to Lucky McKee's next project. Angela Bettis is back but as the director to McKee's writing. Watch for Roman.

I enjoyed May a lot, actually. There were some lame parts, but all in all it was one of the more original movies I've seen in quite a while.

it's definitely not that fucked up. and as I've said before in other threads about this movie, it's too "Hot Topic" for me.
as for sorta-indie horror from that time period, I thought Love Object was better, and even explored semi-similar themes.

I liked Love Object too, but I didn't think it was better then May. They are alike, but they are also very different. May has that cute quirk, while love object had that overbearing love theme.

I really loved May. The reason I loved May was Angela Bettis. She was fantastic in the title role. I felt such sympathy for her character. I was hoping to see more of her, but she hasn't done much since this film has she? Scream is a better made movie than May, but noone in Scream gives a better performance than Angela Bettis does in May.

"Lame teenage horror" isnt usually my bag either, but Scream is actually worth seeing. Alot better than you'd think.

Yes i did and the abovvve quote is from the movie. She loved jeremy Sisto's hands and in the end she got them. I also liked the fact the May is the hero of the film not a victim.:D

I agree with you on this. Scream was actually quite good for some reason. The acting wasn't the best, but it was a good movie despite the hype behind it.
As far as May....I finally got around to watching it. I have to say that I didn't really like this movie at all. I just about fell asleep within the first 50 minutes of it. It had an ummm....interesting ending, but that's about it. It was a good idea for a movie, but not well executed in my opinion.

My old girlfriend got this out..... I probably wouldn't have bothered seeing it otherwise. It was a pretty cool decent watch. Quite quirky almost like a Mallgoth version of Welcome To The Dollshouse. Worth a spin for sure.

The movie is ok, but I dont care for Angela Bettis.I think it would have been a real good flick without her.
