I've mentioned a friend a few times (Chris Alexander) who reviews films, writes for Rue Morgue Magazine, scored the music to Stink of Flesh and does a radio spot friday mornings ..
he also does a feature on an online radio show (Rue Morgue Radio) where he and another fellow named Stuart review a film at the end.
Each week there is a new 30 minute show .. i think you have the option to download it (and past shows as well)
It features a cheesy horror voiced host, several horror themed rock songs, sound bites from films .. usually an interview by Stuart half way through .. (this week it's H.G. Lewis) and the film review at the end with Stuart and Chris.
I'm not pimping anything .. its just something i listen to each week to get a laugh and i thought a couple of you might get a kick out of it ..
if you do check it out - let me know what you think.
(i already know its cheezier than a truck full of edam, but thats part of the fun)

the planning and patience that is only possible with maturity and a cool head. :)
I told Chris i did it - he got a kick out of it - then he tells me that while i was swapping emails with him he was also swapping emails with Bill Moseley for a piece he's working on ...
the man leads an interesting life.

My favorite reviews in Rue Morgue are by Chris. I also love his schizoid cinephile page.

he's a very personable guy .. multi-talented - fingers in a lot of creative pies.
way more energy than I've ever had.
he gets to meet a lot of interesting people in his travels ..
my favorite instance ... when Asia Argento was in town filming Land of the Dead she co DJ'd with Chris at the Rue Morgue Halloween party ..
so if anyone here had a chance to stand beside this beauty all night and spin tunes at a horror themed party - would there be any volunteers ?

I think I'd faint if I got within three feet of that woman. She's one of my favorite actresses, daughter of one of the greatest horror directors of all time and perhaps the hottest woman in existance right now.
