I didn't think it was finished yet let alone out. The Official xbox mag says 70% completed out in June???

I think so... I love this game though (I think I've said that enough I know). Shoving a shower head into a zombies skull and watch him walk around for a while with blood pouring from the shower head instead of water until the walking corpse collapses... and taking a picture of it... incomparable (especially for fans of the undead). I just wish you could trade pics online, even if there's no real multiplayer that would be a great addition to the leaderboards in survival mode.

Well I finally picked this game up today and it's every thing I hoped it would be.I will admit that I do find it a little hard to find objectives, but other than that I haven't had any other problems with it.I do however wish the weapons lasted a little bit longer.

Yeah, it's not flawless but after a few of the big battles and zombie mowing actions it's easy to overlook the blemishes.

It's alot more challenging that Land of the Dead.There is just so many different things you can do in this game.You get to decide which survivors live and die.There is even a few different endings depending on what path you choose.By far the best game I've ever played.

i just finished this yesterday and its a damn fine game, though incredibly easy since if you die you restart at the same lvl you died in and with all the upgrades so it gets easier each time you die, though graphically and just by sheer numbers its bloody impressive, though i myself prefer stubbs the zombie.:)

This game looks awesome. It is the sole purpose I am considering trading in the PS2 for a 360 instead of a PS3.

I'm a zombie fanatic, and what I am about to say is probrablly going to be a bit repetitive (I didn't read but maybe four previous posts.) Dead Rising is by far the best Zombie game made.... YET. Mind you it does have a few drawbacks. If you like the Zombie senario, I definatelly at least recommend renting this game. The number one drawback is the entire game is based on an in-game timer. It helps keep events moving and forces the story along perfectly, but if you're looking for a resident evil where you can set the controller down and walk away for about 3 hours.. it won't happen here... you'll miss a majority of the game doing that with Dead Rising (unless you pause.. hehe).
The game is fun.. there are multipule story endings depending on things you achieve in game. (I got an A the first time through, best ending but still not the Ture[true] Ending (as the 360 puts it). That is achieved in the second 'half' of the game after beating the 24 hour mode.

The game incorporates psychos in the mall (can be VERY tough if you don't figure out the strategy to most of them) millions of zombies which hardly ever give slowdown in the game (I think i started lagging once) and just overall great fun.

The game does get a bit repetitive. While there are like 30 moves or soemthing like that (Which you have to unlock as your character gets stronger) certain moves are most useful in more situations as others, though running through and shouldering aside hundreds of zombies to get to your goal is just as risky as sitting around for some leisure play and just kill as many as you want HOW you want. The weapons in the game are numerous and not always deadly (frisbees and such, child toys don't do damage at all it seems) but the joys of zombie gore/humor can never be equaled (yet! i'm waiting for a second game.. hehe)

I would rate this as the best single palyer game on the 360 (Others might say Oblivion, or Saints-Row.. but you can play those games for HOURS without accomplishing anything. Even in the Freeplay mode on deadrising (which you have to unlock) it is still rather timebased as your health depletes on you.)

I give this game an honest 9.5/10 which is HIGH on my rating scale. Another thing to try this game for is the opening sequence which introduces you to the town. The first time you take control of your character you arn't moving, but instead taking pictures. (You can skip this part but I highly recommend doing it, you can see some pretty gruesome scenes and gain your character some XP while you do so.)

Definatlly check it out if you've never played it before.

Yes this game is really awesome filled with nothing but blood and violence :D My favorite weapon would have to be the lawn mower, awesome !!
