That's a cool list but I'd rather see them do something like top 100 metal bands. That list had so many albums from the same bands, not that they weren't deserving.

well,1 thing i noticed is it doesnt cover any recent metal..its mostly old school.and looks like, at least for the most part 80's metal, which is my preference ,however,I listen to a lot of newer metal.Theres just too much metal that has come out in recent years that kicks ass,in my opinion..By the way theres also a top 50 extreme metal list as well, but it seems to cover a lot (not most in this case) of 80s metal as well!

I do not agree, but then again, I hate 80s metal, so what do I know.

I want to know why Sabbath's "Paranoid" and Slayers "Reign in Blood" are where they are. Both are light years better than "Master of Puppets".

Plus there are albums now-a-day that are better than all three combined.

In a nutshell, the people who made the list, are fucking morons.

And they're not all 80's bands, there's some In Flames and Death in there.

Plus I can't believe they choose "The Jester Race" or "Whoracle" for In Flames. This just proves that these people don't know what metal is.

Death were from the 80s.

Yes, and they are still releasing awesome shit. Thus, they are not or should not be catagorized as an "80's band."

There just releasing unreleased/b-sides/live stuff aren't they? Chuck Schindler died a few years back.

MOP is great but RIP slays it. Slayer have a monster rhythm section but horrendous guitar solos.
