This is probably my favorite game of all time. I know it sounds stupid, but i really love the graphics and the story behind this one, especially the beginning and first 3 temples. I really like the ocean theme behind it too, and the soundtrack is amazing. You can hear some of the soundtrack music at zeldapower.com, and look under media, music, and wind waker.

I hate Zelda games. I have both this and Ocarania for Gamecube, and while this is the better game I dont like either. Not really my style, I guess.

I suck at that kind of game is the main reason I dont like it. I dont mean "Im not very good", I flat out suck monkey balls. I hardly even got past the training levels WITH A PLAYERS GUIDE. Thats how bad I suck.

I like the newer Zeldas but none of them have really stood up to Zelda: A Link to the Past for me. Even the VERY beginning with the hidden door to the dungeon was amazing. The fog filled forest where the master sword sat waiting for Link... that game is in the best in the series IMHO. Maybe I'm just too big a fan of 2D stuff though.

A game that taught you how to use skills that became very important slightly later in the game. That's a training mission as far as Im concerned.

Despare:

I played Link to the Past, but only for a couple minutes at a friends house. Seemed great, but I didnt really have a chance to get into it much.

It really is an amazing game and while I love current games I think 3D is still far from perfected as far as those action adventure games go. I loved the whole light world and dark world concept in LitP too, good stuff, you should try and play it but I wouldn't download a super nintendo emulator and the Zelda rom if I were you. ;)

Link to the Past was GREAT! I think the GBA version was better than the nintendo version, because of the gameplay style.
