View Full Version : Tony Todd: A god among men?

I have to say, I really think that Tony Todd is one of the creepiest men I've seen in a horror movie. His overall persona is just ominous. Whether he be starring in films such as Candyman or making appearances in films such as Final Destination. I've decided he is amazing. Any thoughts?

btw, im exaggerating a little bit, but seriously, he's excellent.

I havent seen a whole lot of his films, but his scene was easily the best part of the first Final Destination movie.

I wouldn't say he's excellent, but I do enjoy his work and acting. I thought he was dark and sinister (that's a compliment) in Candyman, was good in the NOTLD remake, and was the greatest thing in both of the Final Destinations.

I love Tony Todd (you know in a hetero otaku fanboy sorta way). Gotta check out his new films he seems to have like five of them in post production right now. Also one just out on DVD that I can't think of the name of.

Does anyone read Rue Morgue?

:D haha you do actually!

I haven't read Rue Morgue before it hasn't made it over to this part of the world yet :( hear good things about it.
I've been reading the magazine Ultra Violent quite a lot. Really good informative articles that pull a lot of the more obscure trash cinema out of the woodwork.

(the only saving grace is that Tony looks bad too :)

of course the picture i took of the guy with tony todd worked out fine.

this furthers my belief that only about .005% of the population has any clue how to take a decent picture.

He can work the creepy part when he has to,but for me his stand out performance has to be "The Night of The Living Dead" remake...he was superb in that.

that reminds me about one time when I took a picture for a customer at a restaurant and he was like "wow, you take really nice pictures" I think that's one of the best compliments I've ever gotten. It was a jaguar club eating at the restaurant that day (I think they meet every year at a different restaurant... ) and his camera was well expensive and really nice. I'd love a camera like that, I already blew my video/photography budget on my video camera though. :D

back on topic: Tony Todd's cameo in Final Destination was the coolest cameo ever. He's good in everything I've seen him in.
