Alright well my dad passed away 4 days after my 21st birthday. I was going through his things and found the articles about his dad and his grandfather. My dad's dad died 3 days after my dad's 21st birthday. My great grandpa died 2 days after my paps 21st birthday. Is this all a little to weird or am I going to die 5 days after my son's 21st birthday ?

Sheesh...How is someone supposed to answer this?

Okay...How about this...I'll bet that you don't die 5 days after your son's 21st birthday...In fact...I'm SO sure that you won't die then, that if you DO die I'll send you $100...How's that?

:p

Funnily..well ..unfunnily..
nana died..on my b/day ..May 21st
father died..a day after my sisters b/day
sister died..on brothers b/day Nov1st.

They say you know when your dead .is when you don't wake up anymore..(a lil humor).
The thing is ..when my sister got killed..i was there..she kinda grunted before her final breath..as if she was trying to wake herself up ..after a few minutes..all her bodily functions gave way..like she urinated herself etc. and like her throat had closed up cos froth was dripping from her mouth.
Maybe its (hang on a sec..gotta pull myself together)

Maybe ppl are different...but her eyes never opened..her lids fluttered..but her eyes remained closed.

That's what my dad did as I was walking by to go outside for a smoke. He was sleeping in his chair and I heard the grunt and he pulled his blanket over him. I didn't think anything of it until I came back inside and wasn't moving .:(

Rayne that was cold, but funny.;)

Stubborn, what a powerful and profound experience you had. I've never witnessed someone pass before, but I've heard that you can sort of feel the spirit leave the body.

If you're Pagan and you believe as I do, you can tell when someone in your house is about to die. The veil between the world of the flesh and world of spirit become increasingly thin. You can even see movement on the other side. Not ghosts, because these are entities that have crossed over. It's very weird, but interesting.

This happened to me when my grandmother was dying. It was really sort of a profound time for me as a Witch. Very very... unnerving but... wow.

(If you don't buy this, don't comment. Just because you've never experienced this doesn't mean it doesn't happen).

I don't know when, where or how, but when my time comes, i want to be around 50. And I want to go painlessly in my sleep or go down fighting for something I believe in, not some horrible death of cancer or something. And, even though it sounds weird to some, i don't want to know when, where, or how i'm going to die, especially not how.

I think it may be possible that we are all on a clock like system. Every person is different but the result for each indivdual is the same. Maybe there is a internal time limit in our body that says after a certain amount of time, no matter how healthy we are or how good we may feel, we die. It might run on some kind of pattern that we as humans dont have the capacity to undestand. I have heard that we only use like 10% of our brains. If that is true might it not be possible that we are all on our own unique pattern in life that inevitably leads to death? And if someone can figure out the pattern, maybe find an equation that works or something, then coiuld that person pinpoint the exact second of their death? And maybe this pattern or internal clock is hereditary and is passed down generation to generation. Sure it changes a little through each passing, but it is always there. Like a gene or something. Instead of this gene giving you black hair or blonde hair, it decides if you die now or later. Wow, i need to stop smoking weed.

When you're number's up, say BINGO. Take each day as it is and try to make the most of it. If you have the chance to choose when you die (terminal illness like cancer and such), make sure you have people you love around you. It'll be better for you and them.

Take care and live each day as if it may be your last, but don't take stupid chances thinkin' "oh well, I might die tomorrow anyway haha". Hope that makes sense.

Ive taken a bunch of online tests, so based on statistics abot eating habits, lifestyles, and familly history, I should pass on in my early 80's. Which sounds fine to me.

Lincoln had a precognitive dream about his own untimely death and it is well documented. He related the dream to his close friend, Ward Hill Lamon:

About ten days ago, I retired very late. I soon began to dream. There seemed to be a death-like stillness about me. Then I heard subdued sobs, as if a number of people were weeping. I thought I left my bed and wandered downstairs. There the silence was broken by the same pitiful sobbing, but the mourners were invisible. I went from room to room. No living person was in sight, but the same mournful sounds met me as I passed alone. I was puzzled and alarmed. Determined to find the cause of a state of things so mysterious and shocking, I kept on until I arrived at the East Room. Before me was a catafalque on which rested a corpse wrapped in funeral vestments. Around it were stationed soldiers who were acting as guards; and there was a throng or people, some gazing mournfully upon the corpse, whose face was covered, others weeping pitifully. "Who is dead in the White House?" I demanded of one of the soldiers. "The president," was his answer. "He was killed by an assassin."

According to DeathClock - April, 2064

According to OkCupid - July, 2064

So I guess there must be some truth to these stats, if they both give me almost the exact same date.

American not to sound rude but i think u might die five days after your sons 21 birthday. u have a son? anyway it could be a little of god or whoever takes us away from our loved ones because i know for certain whoever is in charge of my destiny besides me has a sense of humor. like having near death experiences because i didnt see the point on living but this person or who ever was a funny person keeping me alive but teasing me just a little. so ill probably die when i dont want to or when i least expect it or i might get a death contract before im dead to give me a hint well we will have to find out when ever i die which i hope isnt until im way older. trust me ill be laughing when im dead because it will be so funny so keep track of the newspapers and it will show u when and how and how old was i when i died if any of u are still alive which i think u will be but who knows ok well ill see u all later!

Man, I had a dream about death last night. I'm not playing this game. I've been way too close for comfort to deal with this.

Rayne, I hope I didn't offend you. I do know that you're very practical in matters of sympathy. Many times there IS nothing you can say... Laughter is often the best medicine. However, I have to say that what you posted was still pretty funny.;)
