Charmed to Cast Its Last Spell

March 4, 2006

The Associated Press reports that The WB's Charmed won't be making the move when the network combines forces with UPN to become The CW network in the fall.

The supernatural series, which stars Alyssa Milano, Rose McGowan and Holly Marie Combs, will end after eight seasons in May.

With 7th Heaven having already announced its exit, it means that two of The WB's long-running series won't move to The CW. The WB and UPN will both shut down in September.

The final episode of Charmed will air on May 21.

never cared much for it, but nothing against it. Poor rose mcgowan, stuck in a series like that. She's a great actor.

Er... tragic. I can't say that I ever liked the show, and whoever covered "How Soon is Now?" for the opening song butchered it.

I only watched the show because the stars are hot and for the longest time it was the only horror show on TV anymore. Thank the dark lords that's now not the case, lotsa horror back on the tube, CHARMED out lived ANGEL by three seasons, that's at least five more than it deserved.
