I have alot, but I think the top spot has to go to Kris Kristofferson. If you cant tell why, go listen to Casey's Last Ride, To Beat the Devil, or The Law is for Protection of the People. If you still cant see why...go back to your Nine Inch Nails.

Nekromantix. They are dedicated to horror. But they're funny, and not too sick.

If Kristofferson has a spot than John Prine and Neil Young as well. For the record I hate Coldplay.

I really like Danzig's lyrics at the moment cause I've been listening to a lot of Misfits, Samhain and Danzig albums. He's kinda got the old school (Johnny Cash and various bluesmen) meets the new (Iggy, ect). Nick Cave does this well too especially in his early albums like From Her To Eternity and The First Born Is Dead. Good to see those two guys mentioned aswell as Tom Waits he has some crazy beat poetry style lyrics aswell as the down and out drunk Bukowski ones aswell.

Im gonna come back to this one..... and rave some more crap and bore you guys :)

Well, you are all free to hate coldplay as much as you want, but I can't stand most metal and death music, and this is the complete opposite IMO. I don't understand what's bad about them?

What I dislike about Coldplay is their blandness. They seem like an Adult-Contemporary, Top 40 version of Radiohead. The singer's voice just kinda irritates me too.

Ive only heared a few of their songs on the radio, like Clocks, Speed of Sound, stuff like that. They're OK, better than alot of the garabge on the radio but Id never go out and buy a CD or anything.

I've heard most if not all of the album with "Parachutes" on it. An ex was really into them and forced me to listen to it constantly. Now that I think of, that may be part of the reason why I dislike them.
