First let me introduce myself. My name is Jon 'Dirtybird' Christie, I've started doing some sales/p.r. work for Screamline Studios (www.screamlinestudios.com). Our work on new products has left us practically no time for furthuring our presence in the industry, on the Internet. Forgive the lack of new content on the site. It's presently under a general overhaul. Kind of a big post sorry just lots of news I want to get out there!!

Starting now, or more specifically at Transworld's 11th Annual Show (March 10-13), we want to become your #1 source for High-Quality slush Latex. We probably have the finest latex you've yet to try. Not only does it have a high viscosity (requiring much fewer, in some cases only One application), but it also has a higher durability (a must for any wear-able latex applications, much longer life for masks).

Our price will almost certainly remain steady at 1 gal. for $27.50, or 5 gal. for $100 and then any number of those quantities that you require. Although large quantities (55 gal. drum), will be possible very soon. This upcoming show at Transworld is a great oportunity to save some money by having us deliver it to you, as we will be attending.

Exclusively at Screamline Studios. Hopefully soon I'll have the promo video up on the website for you to view. His behind the scenes documentary explores the minds of performers within the haunted attraction industry and also highlights the creative techniques and tools used to develop detailed characters. You can also pick it up at Screamline Studios' booth #336 at Transworld, and check out some of the other things we'll have (medieval weapons, plasti pal (to fix broken false teeth), scar sheets, and much more.)

You are Insane...should I have joined the forum when I wasnt involved in the industry? get some sense man... I'm not some spammer promoting my 'shit' as you put it. what do you even do? do you have a company, do you contribute anything to the industry besides roaming forums looking to shoot down anyone trying to get their name out? Don't worry, if there isnt some sort of change take place, I wont ever post here again.. and i'll be sure to let everyone I'm in contact with know the same. Funny thing is I make films myself. But I don't like some guy coming in and saying hey do this do that shoving shit down my throat. If you would have posted in the new member forum like normal people and said, "Hey man I am so and so I am a director or I do PR for this company." and then get to know some people then be like, "Oh by the way check this out." That would be cool, but just coming on and throwing it at us isn't cool. So fuck you and your god damn movie business shit. God damn Hollywood prick.

Oh sorry I miss wrote what I said, your trying to sell latex. That's all good but the way you came out and was just like Yo check this out. First post here. When you could have gotten to know some people first. And yeah I have movie tournaments because unlike some people in Hollywood who would never talk to fans. I want to know people so that when I go somewhere I will have a true following. I do it when I am either A.) At work and it is slow. or B.) During my film class when I have no work to do. I am doing something with my life that isn't just who would win. Thats just something fun to pass time with. So again fuck you. Because I have been here two years and know everyone and when my shit is done they will want to buy my shit other then with you telling you to suck a dick.

My, my - such hostility towards fellow horror fans. I'd like to take a moment to just Hi, my name is Steve and I am part owner of Screamline Studios. If anyone who like to take a break from swearing every other word and actually learn something please read on.

If you don't want to "buy" anything from us, don't. Please just ignore our post and feel free to discuss the best weapon for killing someone or what is your favorite Halloween movie on the other postings, I like the first Halloween the best myself. But, If you use Latex for what ever artistic projects you may be working on and you wanted to possibly save some money on getting some from us, we would welcome you as a customer and treat you right.

That is all Dirtybird was trying to do, is get our name out a little and offer a service. I understand how some might insist on have a million posts before you are allowed to do so, but that isn't pratical.

I understand in this day and age we are all overwhelmed with spam. However we are not offering a porn site or low car insurance rates, that is what I consider spam. I believe our post is realted to this industry and forum. Perhaps some people on this board may be here to get a good deal and actually appreciate the post, but two people have obviously set the tone for everyone else because only their opinion matters.

On behalf of Screamline Studios, please accept our apologies for intruding on your apparently inclusive world, however also realize that no harm was intended. We are just trying to make it in the industry like everyone else. The industry we love, Horror, what we have lived ate and breathed for the last 10 years as business and way more than that as individuals.

Perhaps if some other new company in the Horror industry would post in the future to try and promote themselves, this e-mail may make some members pause before they jump down their throats and attack them.

I think everyone understands the reasons for promoting your thing here its just that it happens so often patience gets worn thinner and thinner each time. If you stick around and contribute to the forum (and it doesn't have to be hundreds of posts) you will learn who would be interested in your products and maybe approach them individually via the private messages.

some of these 'industry' types seem to love to come in an ridicule this forum. . . which is funny since if it weren't for us FANS their movies would NEVER HAPPEN!!! Somehow I doubt spammers come into, say, a James Joyce fan forum and say things like "why waste your time trying to figure out Ulysses - instead check out my new printer cartridge website!!"

Just so you know, we may have a business, but we are fans as well. We are not just trying to capitalize on the horror industry with products from China - we are just like you expect we decided to make a business out of it. Thats all.
