Meanwhile I realice that I realy don't know what do you think about Spain. So camo give me your opinion, be free for that...I don't wanna fight with any one (Unless you only answer with topics of toreros, flamenco or shit like that). Meanwhile I will try to finish with this f***ng case

OK try to imagine what could we think when we see thinks like a kid of 15 who kills 12 of his class mates, or when we see the NY police kicking an afroamerican till he dies. Think about the vision of US that gives to the rest of the world your president ...
And think about this, when I get out with my friends on frayday I can stay 'till 6 in the morning walking on the streets without problems.
I DON'T HATE AMERICANS it's just that there are a lot of things that I could not understand of you society

A: Kids killing kids has happened for years regardless of the president, we have local governments that are supposed to stop that. Bad parenting causes that not a bad nation. Besides, with more freedoms there are more chances of those things happening you take the good with the bad. I think America has TONS of problems but it's still the best country in the world.
B: I don't hate any country really and there are things we can learn about each others countries that might help us understand other cultures.

It's not always dangerous here! I've walked around Atlanta, Georgia till dawn with some friends and we never had any problems. I wouldn't trust walking by myself though.

I've think that other big problem is that the european countries take US as a model during the 80's('cause at this time we're on crisis) and now when our rulers see the social problems that you have, feels afraid for that happens here in the old Europe.
And of course, the political corect way of thinking...it's horrible that kids could see nudety on films but they could see pure shit like MTV (A real brainwashing), or Irak war on TV....

I haven't been to Spain, so what I know of it is rather vague. Mostly gleaned through travel shows and books and the like. I think of a romantic place with beautiful old architecture and a balmy climate. I just don't really know that much though.
As for what the rest of the world thinks about the US... all I can say is that I understand how you guys feel about it, and I can't blame you. A lot of us here are afraid and distressed at the way this country is going too. That's all I'll say, as I have no desire to get involved in a political debate/flamewar.

I see, I explain wrong. I want to say that I can get back home ALONE at six in the morning, for that I cross all the town. But your right on big towns like Barcelona or Madrid some places are dangerous...unfortunally there's "mad" people all over the world

I also wanted to say that the MAJORITY of America is just fine...It's usually the big cities (New York especially), and we only have a few 'big cities' per state, where most of the bad stuff happens...But, high crime rates are expected in major cities EVERYWHERE...It's not uncommon...
Why does the rest of the world only hear about the bad side of America?...It's because you are NEVER gonna watch a news segment, or read a headline titled "Nothing happened today...Everything was cool...Nobody was shot or robbed...Nobody died...etcetera"....Tragedy sells...

And most Americans are not sheep,we disagree with ALOT of things that go on in our government and our society.
That's the one thing that people from other countries don't understand-we are a HUGE land mass and we are not all lumped together into the same mindset.

Copy. When you said that if we only see the dark side of America...probably it's true, 'cause for the media the bad noticies are only the real noticies. In my opinion the bggest crimes appear in palces where are a big conglomeration of people and especially when these people has diferent cultures. On Spain we've got less incidents 'cause these two factors appear only recently
