Well as you all my have known my father passed away so I decided to get a tattoo in memory of him.
It is the gates of heaven surrounded by clouds with lights coming through some clouds on the top shinning down on the gates with his birthdate and death date with dad in the middle. It was a painful 3 hours and the most painful tattoo I have gotten yet and I have 9.

Dude, I think that one was worth the pain. That is the most meaningful tattoo I've ever seen.

That's an awesome piece man, and very meaningful.... I'm having a portrait of my son done on my chest after I finish my sleeves, and it will be without a doubt my most cherished piece of ink...

And I wonder if her husband tries not to stare at it when...ya know. That'd be kinda akward.

LOL yeah I guess that would be fucked up, but he is my heart and he's going on top of mine :)

That's absolutely amazing. I love bigger tattoos, one with so much meaning is just wow, very nice. :)

Thanks for everyones feeback, It is my favorite one and probley will be that way. Every tattoo I have has some sort of meaning except one and it was my first and I regret that one lol. But this one I am never going to regret and I think the artist did a EXCELLENT job !

i'd say it(the pain) was worth it.it's very good work aswell as a tribute.
