Sorry man. I'm gonna have to go with The Adams Family. The Munsters just had a little bit too much of a cartoon feel to them in my opinion. I still like it though. TAF Just rules over in my book.

I guess the cartoon feel could be what I liked about them.
They sort of reminded Me of the Classic Universal Monsters, just funny.:)

True. It did sort of add a likeable feeling to it. But the whole fast motion thing was just a bit much to me.

My mind says adams family (cause it seems a little more legit and possible)
but i just look at the munsters..and i cant help but love the bunch.
I say munsters..

Addams Family by a very small margin. Herman got on my nerves every once in a while, which is pretty much what swung the vote.

Well, this is a really really tough one! You are mean for forcing us to decide like this. But I thought it over, and........
TAF wins, also by a bare margin.
They're both great shows. Munsters had the advantage of the more nicely depicted monster characters (good makeup and costumes, nice creepy sets), but they were basically a normal family in their behavior. The Addamses looked more normal overall but were completely twisted albeit blissfully unaware of the fact. Addamses = funnier. So I guess the writing wins over the look.

I've always been more fond of The Munsters. Nothing ever clicked with The Addams Family for me. They were so repetitively boring and dull. The Munsters have always made me laugh and always had something new up their sleeve.

The Munsters was way better, I watched the Hot Rod Herman episode last night and it fuckin' ruled. Damn their car is awesome I wanna set of wheels like that.

I voted for The Addams Family b/c there seems to be more to it than the Munsters, both literally and figuratively. by that I mean that I really like the "My Crowd" cartoons by Charles Addams that the Addams Family came from.

If you're talking about the tv shows then The Munsters, if you're talking about the movies then The Addams Family.
The Munsters......the original ones...not that sorry shit they tried to pass off in 88 with John Shuck as Herman.

Definitely the Addams Family. The sly and morbid sense of humor was always right up my alley. The Munsters were just way too cartoonish and over the top for me.

addams family was more true to the dark side and used very macabre humor where as the munsters (in my opinion) were more normal like. used normie humor with a twist of misunderstanding which is why i have always considered them idiots!
