I found out today that Kevin Smith is putting together a Clerks part 2. My first reaction was "hell yeah" but it seems the film features a clean and sober Jay and Silent Bob. Does this sound shitty to anyone else?

jay and silent bob they rock. and i think it is stupid because the "drugs" suit them and i am not for drugs but its ok for them to do it. weird huh?

I wouldn't say it would be the worst movie of all time. Yes, Jay and Silent Bob off dope is a dumb idea, but the Clerks movie revolved more around Dante and Randal, not Jay and Silent Bob. We'd only have to suffer for awhile, and then laugh our asses off again once Dante and Randal appear again.
