Shock rocker Marilyn Manson will make his feature directorial debut on Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Caroll, in which Manson will play the author of Alice in Wonderland, according to Production Weekly. Manson penned the script with Anthony Silva, and will score the music for the film, which will tie the life of Lewis into his famous poem, "Phantasmagoria." Fashion model Lily Cole will star as Alice, with Angelina Jolie in negotiations to play the Red Queen. Production is expected to begin this summer in Europe.
