I may have posted this months ago, but I don't remember getting any replies and I'm curious to know if anyone saw this movie and if it had the same effect on them that it had on me:
This movie freaked me out in the 70's and I occasionally still have a nightmare or two about it.
Richard Baseheart is a surgeon who has a blind daughter and kidnaps people for their eyes to transplant in his daughter. The eyeless people are kept in a basement prison, which is just so hopeless because even if they are rescued, they still won't have their freakin' eyes! And, after a bizzillion eye surgeries, the daughter was really hideous.
I saw this at the drive-in. Ever try to not hear a move at a drive in? Impossible to tune out.
