My independent Zombie film (retro 70s style) entitled "Flesh Crawl" takes place in the woods for almost the first half of the film.
Its also shot during the daytime.
Please check it out:

Im curious though...why your seeking "woodsey" indie films?

I can assure you all,the link is very much not SPAM.
I have been busting my butt on this film for almost 2 years.
Maybe if he actually tried the link first?
Trust me....its the real deal.

Actually, now that "Slasherman" has effectively scared everyone away from clicking my film site link....if your still a little dubious about checking it out:
Go to Google.com
Run FLESH CRAWL in search.
You will find us.
And we are not spam.
I am new to this board...I hope this is some bizarre misunderstanding?

i don't think he knows what spam IS. i think he thinks we mean spam like its a virus or spyware. but in actuality... its worse.

Dude this is an old post....Slasherman and I resolved this issue along time ago.
Found out there is a proper place to pimp the indie films.
Please read all other posts to find out how this problem was remedied.
Just search my user name on the board.
Dont need to drag up an old flame war,but a comment about pimping an independent film site being worse than a virus/spam site is lame at best.
We have agreed to all get along and play nice...

Nah...all is cool and I like it here!
Nobodys bashing aything....we are all kind of,"gelling" as the commercials say.
I was just pushing back a little..a I think a comfortable understanding has been met.
Good to see Horror fans standing up for what we all believe in!

Now wait a minute boys....lets not start an old flame war here.

All is good.
Lets try to forget this old thread and move forward.

i'm not starting an arguement... that's a false elementary accusation thrown out because bedlam didn't agree with someone's opinion. Things like that piss everyone off.

I thought I posted this before, but I guess not. Dark Heritage: The Final Descendant is a pretty good one. Cheesy, hard to find, and not very well aged...but I think it's worth a watch or two. It's an unauthorised adaption of Lovecraft's The Lurking Fear.

So we can get back into the mood of having wood while watching a horror movie... er, horrors set in the woods, I'm going to name one (like Return did).

Oh, you are gold.

If we accept the slang, how are we to know he/she is in fact not a "prick", or "penis"?

I won't name it, but my first feature had written in the script "Ext. Wooded Area. Night" and then we wound up shooting in the Bronx. The "Wooded Area" turned into three trees on a 9 foot patch of grass.

Sorry, off topic. "Off the Beaten Path" was largely shot in the woods. In fact half the movie involves getting deep into the woods.

Broken, a low-budget 2006 Brit movie I saw at this year's Fantasia festival. Apart from two-three minutes at the beginning, everything takes place in a forest.
