I am looking for some film reccomendations, from all of the guru's here. :) Films from any time frame are fine, colour or black & white, as long as they are availible on DVD (I'm a quality whore).
What I liked;
SAW & SAW II (II moreso, thw twists)
The Skeleton Key (the twists)
Wolf Creek (Enjoyed the atmosphere)
Hellraiser 1 & 2 (2 moreso, atmosphere and the doctor)
Evil Dead 1 & 2 (the cheese gore!)
Braindead (thought it drug on a bit though)
MOH: Fair-Haired Child (thought the story was amazing)
MOH: Incidents On and Off a Mountain Road (atmoshpere)
The Amityville Horror 2005 (visual-wise)
Nightmare on Elm Street (loved Freddy and the visuals)
Seed of Chucky (Hillarious and stylish)
What I didn't like;
Dog Soldiers (although good, not into war-horror.)
The Amityville Horror 70's (good, good, oh... then came the ending)
Considering;
Dead & Breakfast
Boy Eats Girl
Buffy The Vampire Slayer (movie)
A Tale of Two Sisters
Audition
Overall, I like three types of films.
1) Horror & Gore Comedies with over-the-top effects and jokes. Evil Dead 2 is a prime example of what type I like.
2) Gorefests. Extreme gore, not afraid to show you anything. As long as there isn't disgusting rape scenes every 10 minutes and no child nudity.
3) Twisty horror films. The ones where the endings just send you through a realization-ride. Cry_Wolf, The Skeleton Key, SAW & SAW II are all examples of the types of twists I love.
Don't Like...
1) Films with monsters or aliens. Not a fan of the sci-fi aspect of things. Alien, Predator and any form of vs. is just not my thing.
2) Technology against humans! Not my thing either. When machines attack and turn against their creators, or a super-computer turns out to be posessed by a serial killer.
3) Horror films with mixes of politics or war.
Hope you can help :x

Re-Animator: I saw Beyond Re-animator on TV a few years ago. It had suprisingly bad acting, and one actress even had a dubbed voice-over, or at least it seemed like it. It was enjoyable, to a certain degree. The penis and the rat fight at the end was rather hillarious.
Shaun of the Dead: Saw this as well, it was so-so. The humour wasn't amazing, a few laughs here and there. It was very well done, and I glad I watched it, just not one of my favourites.
Jeepers Creepers: I rather liked this, and the sequel as well. Thought the first had a sense of eerieness, and the second was cool because he was more humanized. A good watch.
28 Days Later: Thought this was good. No real amazing ending, or amazing twists - but a good solid watch.
Bambi: Haha... Disney? I hated it.
Candyman: Oh, forgot about this one. I liked it very much.
EDIT;
Re-Animator is coming on SCREAM tonight after MOH, so I'll definately check that one out. :)

I havent seen any of the Re-Animator sequels yet, but the 1st is definatly a classic.
Will it be fully uncut on Scream? If not, go rent/buy it. Sex, gore and violence in spades, just wouldnt be the same cut.

Dead and Breakfast was good horror comedy cheese.
Are you into REALLY cheesey stuff? Check out Street Trash, the game of catch with the severed penis is hillarious.

Hellraiser I & II: Eh... I have that on my list already? o_O
The Toolbox Murders: Saw this on Tv too and thought it was poorly acted, but it did shine. It had a certain feeling, and I liked the concept of the apartment building and telling the stories of many residents. The ending twists were ridiculous though. *gasp* he's alive, oh he's dead, no he's really alive ... wait, no... he's dead :D - oh, OH MY GOD HE ESCAPED!1111!!1!1eleven!1!
Alien movies: ...
Dear Soloman Kane,
I thank you for your suggestions, but next time... maybe you should read the post before you reply.

Hellraiser 1 & 2 (2 moreso, atmosphere and the doctor)
1) Films with monsters or aliens. Not a fan of the sci-fi aspect of things. Alien, Predator and any form of vs. is just not my thing.
The_Return: Yeah, I don't bother watching movies on TV channels other then SCREAM and M.
Scream and M show their movies uncut. M is commercial free, though SCREAM is not. The Big upside to SCREAM is the quality of their broadcasts. All of their footage looks remastered and better then the respective DVDs. They aired Massacre at Central High and it's leaps and bounds above the now out-of-stock DVD.
Despare: Haha, yeah cheese is the best. It has to be good cheese though, no shit that tries to be funny and isn't. Stuff that makes fun of itself, or doesn't know it's making fun of itself is the best. I'll take a peek at this movie.
Thanks!

Suicide Club is well worth watching. It's a little slow and a little confusing in parts, but still quite good.
Also from your "considering" list, A Tale of Two Sisters and Audition are both excellent, really high-quality films. I would highly recommend both of those.

I also would like to say I was a big fan of High Tension, as well as House of 1000 Corpses - but I didn't enjoy Devil's Rejects as much.

i don't mean to be obnoxious (or maybe i do) but for a person asking for "recommendations" you seem to have seen everything everyone is suggesting . . . or rejecting them as "not your style."

No offence taking. What I'm mainly replying to is the movies suggested I HAVE seen, followed by my opinion. So, you can further get a style for my tastes. What I reject, doesn't look interesting to me. When this thread dies I'm compliling a list of the reccomendations that look good.

Hehe, no problem. I watched Re-Animator last night and I rather liked it. It was quite similiar to the sequel I had seen, only better. A lot better. Thanks for the reccomendation, glad I took it. :)

Just finished Boy Eats Girl, absolutely loved it. The killing spree scene far out beat the infamous lawnmower scene in Braindead.
I also rented When a Stranger Calls for tonight. The remakes coming out, and I must say this... whoever did the casting... please god, let them be fired. The main actress can't deliver a FUCKING LINE, not even in the trailer. She is one of the worst, and the worst in a Hollywood movie, actress I have seen. Great job, a movie that seemingly relies on the tension and fear she feels is ruined. I hope it bombs.
Hope I enjoy the original.
Might also catch A Tale of Two Sisters and Audition tonight.
