Let's see the experts come up with the answer to a pair of questions that have dogged me for years.

Looking for the titles to two movies......I can only recall a couple of scenes..perhaps you will recognize.

In one movie, it takes place in England...and in a scene...a women recieves a pair of binoculars as a gift, when she adjusts the focus...two nails spring into her eyes.

The other movie takes place in outer space....and I recall that there was an infected crew member trapped below in a passageway...he seemed to be turned into a monster, while the other crew members avoided him.

These movies are obviously old..I haven't seen them since the 70's when I was a kid...any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You dreamed both films. Neither of them ever existed.

Well, actually, one sounds like Horrors of the Black Museum, and the other sounds like It: The Terror from Beyond Space.

Both may have been featured on the Chiller series..or Creature Features...not sure if those references are well known...both were on PIX and WOR in New York in the 70's to early 80's......its a long time ago...and those images have stuck with me....the movies may very well suck....but I need to see them.....I'll check out "It", to see if that may be the sci-fi gem....if you can tell from my "name" I like those old sci-fi flicks..and a lot of the Hammer stuff.....atmospheric horror movies do it for me......stuff that's actually creepy..a hard thing to accomplish.

checking those titles out on imdb.com will probably yield some more info....

The first one is definitely Black Museum...the 2nd...well not enough details to be sure. But "It: The Terror" featured a space monster that the spaceship crew were basically trying to avoid because, you know, it was a vicious killer. That film was one of the main inspirations for "Alien" (1979)......

Very kind of you to say that, thanks, but those two questions were on the easy side. Quite a few people could have gotten the answers, I think...
