i didn't realize there were local horror film hosts anymore. our local horror midnight show was cancelled in favor of infomercials (which are much scarier)

no the old midnight show was boring and irrelevant -

actually it was pretty funny. we had a sort of dorky 'news weatherman' guy who did it - it was called 'Freaky Flicks and Food' and featured 'local' celebrities cooking some crap and watching a shitty b horror movie. anyway, the weather guy went on to a bigger market and they put on this big bald headed freaky looking guy (whom i've met since we work in the same university) and he was AWFUL - thought he was all Mystery Science Theater - but was just painful, tediously unfunny

so, they cancelled it and replaced it with infomercials

Nashville has one, but I don't live there anymore. he was ok. he had one of my old bands on there as a musical guest. that was fun.
