Some of you guys know me, whether it be from this forum or other horror forums but I'm on a crusade for the term 'blood-n-guts' --we all know and love it, right? So why has it been passed over as a term suitable for new word/term cultural dictionaries. This is something I posted in another horror forum and it describes how the hell I got to this place:
I've been watching horror movies my whole life and have been a huge fan of the occult. The other day I was at a bar and some film school jerks, you know the kind, were totally ragging on horror movies--like the true blood and guts type of movie. They called it trashy and a waste of time-- whatever. Suspense is cool and all but hell, I love my trashy chainsaw yielding menaces and have been crusading for blood-n-guts to be entered into a cultural dictionary and recieve the cultural recognition it deserves. Fuck, if Puggle (a damn mix between a pug and a beagle) can get into the cellphone dictionary (yeah, can you believe that?) then blood-n-guts should be able to make it. I've gone onto the www.textfast.t9.com and have written to the customer support team trying to get it added into the dictionary. I use that function and feel the need to be represented. Am I totally off? Or is ubersexual a more important term than blood-n-guts (ubersexual also made the cut--no pun intended)
I'm being totally serious guys-- let's get proactive. If this is something we love we should stand up for it. wordspy.com is another somebody to bug. Anybody with me?

ok, since I've gotten views without replies I'm going to assume that nobody is interested...oh well. Army of One here I go.
There he goes......Don Quixote and his faithful companion Sancho Panza.

I dont have time for another crusade.
It takes too much time and I never feel like I am accomplishing anything.
can we add "poo-nuts" and "woot" to the dictionary while we're at it?

Bitch-cunt should also be acceptable, as in; Cindy Holtslag is a bitch-cunt from hell. (The "from hell part" is acceptable the way it is).

An English Football manager once used the word 'Bouncebackability' to describe his team coming from behind to win a match (Ian Dowie of Crystal Palace I think?). Thanks to a concerted media campaign headed by Sky Sports it made it into the Oxford English Dictionary the following year.
It can be done.

Bravely bold Sir beerbatbadger rode forth from Camelot.
He was not afraid to die,
O brave Sir beerbatbadger.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir beerbatbadger!
He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp,
Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken,
To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away
And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir beerbatbadger!
His head smashed in and his heart cut out
And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off

As they had run out of food they were forced to eat the minstrels. There was much rejoicing.
