Stupid flick. Zombie bites don't turn you into a zombie, according to ASD's rules.

Are you kidding? What's the point of going out of your way to watch it then? Sounds like a borefest.
The Mexican celebration known as Dia De Los Muertos- "Day of the Dead" - honors both life and death.
Has any1 here seen this film ? i thought it was pretty good.. anyone else here a fan of the movie

fairly good sign the movie will suck: "Dia De Los Muertos" =/= "All Souls Day"

I saw the trailer on the Dead and Breakfast DVD, too. It looks OK...not great, but maybe worth watching sometime

I am always up for a good Zombie flick. It sounds original. I like it when they bring a new twist to an old legend.

thats too bad .. i generally like the films anchor bay are associated with... but they do release a few stinkers.
i myself am a sucker for any type of films related to zombies or horror
i agree some parts could have been better but it was still a pretty ok flick
the story concept has been used a few times, cause day of the dead can bring all sorts of mysteries & mayhem but this flick i thought was better than others that have used the storyline
there is a new limited edition version of the film that has been released

Hey, you got a link to the thread you posted? I am really curious as to what other Zombie fans thought of it.

It's probably worth one of those "Mystery Science Theatre" viewings, but I wouldn't recommend buying it... unless ya gotta fill up the collection.
...poor Jeffrey Combs.

I was VERY surprised to see Jeffery Combs in this one...It definitely does NOT do him justice...
It wasn't the worst horror movie I've ever seen, but it IS the worst horror movie with Jeffery Combs in it that I've ever seen...
I'd still watch it again, it's better than a lot of others
It just REALLY needed more Jeffery Combs...And, in a bigger, better role...

Thanks for posting the media player link... the pics are great. I'm a sucker for movies with good make-up jobs, when the make-up is crap I just don't get sucked in... I spend the entire movie complaining that with everyone having a bad hair day it MUST be a dream sequence.
(I actually tried to convince my friends that an entire ep of ST:Voyager was a dream sequence because EVERYONE was having a bad hair day! Course it was also a pretty bad ep! :) )
I"ll have to watch for the DVD to fall into my budget.
Thanks again for the post... I SUCK at surfing the web for stuff like the player, yet I always wish I'd found them...

Ooh, All Souls' Day...the one that just came to DVD with Danny Trejo. That was a great movie! It is definitely worth renting, or even buying since you can find it pretty cheap at target or walmart or even amazon.com. I love the Dia de los Muertos theme to it. I must admit it isnt a typical zombie film, not another DotD or Resident Evil, but possibly even better. The DVD has excellent cover art and great extras. You should check it out. Anyone else see it?

Being associated with the dvd or film will give you an overly optimistic view.
