"Coming to a Phone near You: Early last month, Sprint and MSpot announced the launch of MSpot Movies, a new service which streams movies and old TV shows to mobile phones. Programs will be broken into chapters and streamed to users in small chunks. Horror films available for programming include Night Of The Living Dead and Little Shop Of Horrors. It’s currently estimated that the new service will have about 150 million customers by the year 2008."

What's everyone's thought on this?
Personally, I don't give a rats ass what movies are available for your cell phone or psp. The screen's are too damn small to make it worth it. But that's just my opinion.

Might be nice, if you're sitting at a bus station for five hours, during a pouring rain, with nothing else but some crackers and some flat 7-Up.

Ooooo, that was horrible, wasn't it!

There's something rather creepy about all this "small" viewing and gaming.

In some extreme situations (such as away camping, or being held hostage in Iraq) it may be understandable to pull out the mini-TV or Gameboy to help pass the time - but just sitting in the house or waiting for a bus and doing it is transforming the populace into distracted, gormless zombies.
