I read. A lot. I smoke, I read, I even write a little. My big dream is to be the queen of splatter punks. One day, I want to say, clive Barker, eat your own heart out. Literally. Because one day when I'm cool enough, I'll be able to say that. Oh yea and once in a while I like to go bowling and sometimes I like to go fishing and clam digging (hey, I live in Alaska, ok!). Other than that, all I do is watch movies and dink around on my comp. Boring.
Venom, you're not the only boring one!
I play in my band, write alot, play around with my Camcorder, watch horror movies....well....that's about it.

I read every chance I get. Usually novels and yes, comics (just not the superhero kind). I'm addicted to that tv show "Charmed." I hang out with my big bro a lot. I occassionally go out. But essentially, my life is one big bore at the moment. :)
I review movies on badmoviereview.com and run Quintina.net (as well as the .com and .org versions of that same name). I do turntablism and rap music (however I'm about to get rid of my turntables and records...getting out of the dj thing). Other than that...not much.

It was a repeat this past Sunday. Next Sunday, the 14th is supposed to be a two hour special. I am also guilty of watching it 5 days a week on TNT! :p

Read this with a lisp......it's funnier.
I'm 22, Virgo and enjoy drawing, watching all kinds of movies (horror just happened to hook me first), reading, writing movie reviews, puppy dogs, and long walks on the beach.

I enjoy reading as well. But i dont do it often. I spend all of my time recording or writing new songs. Its an all-consumning passion.
Oh yeah i occasionally take the camaro out to pick some fights(races).

Thanks Hel! A two hour special next week?!? YEA!
I, too, am guilty of watching it everyday on TNT. That channel is just cool because it plays the reruns of the shows I like. I watch Law and Order EVERY DAY, usually multiple times.
I didn't start watching Charmed until like 6 months ago or so and I've been hooked. If TNT didn't exist, I'd be lost :0) Luckily, every so often they run those marathons where they show it from the pilot on.

I don't really dig the party scene. There are a lot of smoking sessions though. Did I mention that I live in Alaska? In case that means nothing to you, for me it means that smoking's half legal now :D Only half legal because while it's legal in the state of AK, there's still federal law that prohibits it... assholes.

Most of Alaska is considered bum fucked Egypt, and Unalaska definitely falls under that category. Although, they do have a skate park there. I don't know how or why, but they do. We don't even have a real skate park in Anchorage (the biggest city). Alaska has about 500,000 people in and about 300,000 of them are in Anchorage.
Granted, there's not mad shit to do, but there are some bennies. There are a shitload of bars - EVERYWHERE - because of this. Some of the smaller villages are dry and kids die from huffing shit, but Anchorage isn't so bad. It's really awesome if you're into snow sports though. Valdez has some of the best snowboarding in the world. They shoot a lot of snowboarding movies and competitions out there.
There's not much for clubs, but if you're an alchy who likes to smoke some doobies, this is the ultimate. Most of the people who live here are ex-hippies who have shacked up in little houses with no neighbors, shotgun by the door, and plants growing in the garage/spare room/etc.

HA I'm new here. This is actually my first post.. Funny thing that it has nothing to do with horror? But that's ok.
Let's see.. watching horror movies is pretty fun, but there IS life outside of the bubble. Besides, all the adrenaline rushing.. I need to let my body have a break hah.
Uhmm, dirtbiking/offroading, darts, pool, reading, photography, flying/being a pilot, watching TV/movies, listening to music is a biggie. WOO METAL. Rap is good also. There's probably more, but I can't think of them right now.

Ok, i know this coz i'm a medstudent..
The main effect is you go into Sinus tachycardia---That basically means your heart is pumping like crazy.. You sweat, increase extracellular glucose, increased alertness... Too much of it though can eventually give you arrythmias...

My hobby is to read books mostly related to psychology, spirituality, self awareness, emotional (https://thecoachtrainingacademy.com/emotional-intelligence-certification/) intelligence and life coaching. I think these topics are not too much covered in our life and despite they are very important for our lives. Mental health is an integral part which is ignored and become a taboo and can be cured by life coaches and psychiatrists like other physical diseases.
But what about horror movies?

Dude! This thread is about hobbies and psychoses other than horror movies. This is a demonstration of suppressed emotional trauma that is tanking your Emotional IQ! You, obviously need some Emotional Intelligence Coaching!
But sorry, pal, I don't know where you can get some of that, but you should make sure they are certified, cause there are charlatans that could really mess up head.

I asked because I find it odd that a person would join a horror forum and the first thread (which is freakin old) the person has chosen to response to is a thread about anything else but horror movies. So excuse me for being insensitive, but BAN THE PERSON!!!

When I'm not working I'm on my comp researching/finding horror movies.
Always looking for that hidden gem.

But still, we should look at The Four Levels of Emotional Intelligence

2. Ability to reason with emotions

My emotions are on a very steady level. No real mood swings, except when I’m playing PlayStation. Then I turn into an angry little baby.
But what I am not is PC. If people can’t take it, fuck em.

Last September I decided to take up ... gardening. I would never have thought that this thing can be that soothing :) there are also a lot of related issues like wasps eating my grape harvest or the infestation of mice after harvesting the grain (the issues can be easily sorted out with these (https://everpest.com/blogs/blog/how-to-get-rid-of-mice-in-the-house) devices) but nevertheless I am glad to be into gardening ::cool::

Still with the lady.
You are, familiar but different. You talked more.
Orright, lets do this.
anyone over in the us ever seen any of these shows?;
*Freaks and Geeks
All of it. Love it - I will still recommend checking it out to this day.
Always meant to get around to "Undeclared", never have.
*The nowhere man
Even though I've heard it got cancelled and didn't have anything beyond an early ending...it didn't sound horrible, and there is still a list of shows to buy/acquire, and it is still on there.
*freakylinks
Never did catch the end, kind of lost interest after a few years. I always liked Ethan Embry though...last saw him in a little bit of the walking dead. He never really went anywhere much eh...
*Storms, I love storms, and the smell when a storm is coming.
STILL.
Probably more.
*Long-ass bike rides to places I don't know.
If I had a bike in working order, sure. Maybe one day again...
*The beach, at night or during storms only....the sun doesn't like me much...
I kind of went from that to, I don't live near a beach any more...and getting to a decent one is a bullshit hassle, and I'm much more anti crowd today than you ever were, so sorry, beaches are OUT.
*First person shooter pc games (dont call the FBI just yet, guys...)
my fave probably being half-life (waiting for #2)...and I thought Max Payne really rocked too...
Don't play as many, I'm much more of a game snob these days...if something doesn't grab me in precious little time, I move on.
When there is a kid (yes I you/we have one of those now. Read the thread You're me.) in the picture, there is less game time unless I wanna be a jerk.
Ha, I ended up liking Half Life 1 better than 2 overall, and have replayed it much more. Max Payne is fucking classic, the interest in the franchise had kinda waned by the third installment, but it was at least decent. Always hoping to see another one capture the magic...maybe one day.
*The Night
YEP
*The Rain, hail, and floods.
BIIIIG YEP
*Reading
Sadly, bit out of routine. There are, still books to read.
*Puffin' the occasional blunt (palmboys not around, is he?)
Uh...hey...so just go straight to buying the volcano when you move over to vapourising. Skip right to the end. Trust me. We are, still green friendly. Don't worry though, our time with the kid is 100% "present" and alert, we are still the good stoners ;)
*Watching the scene in CastAway where Tom Hanks knocks his tooth out with an ice-skate....again and again, that's some funny shit...
Still funny. I probably look it up less these days. Shit...now I'm going to have to.
*I also like going to pet-shops and shelters, even if I'm not gonna buy an animal...just to say Hi...
Love it, though time is a bit more pressed these days.
I'll still let River check out the pet shops 'n stuff though, when we're not in lockdown that is...oh yeah, that's our daughters name, no, we did not "get" a son. She's cool. Yeah, River like...yep...that one, and it was fine for either male or female...man, it was like 60+ choices each that neither of us liked...when that got suggested, it was like, ok STOP NOW. It's RIVER.
Uh so yeah, still, kinda...a little bit...when time and situation allows.
*Writing, fiction/adventure/horror
Gone.
Don't know what happened, but it was some time ago.
No real cause, and we still like *elements* of writing, still have the occasional idea...who knows. Put a pin in it I guess.
*comics, well, when I can...the marvel "ultimate" series is pretty cool so far....
The Ultimate series...yeah did like that, at least to a point. It kind of lost it's way. There's still some comics that follow characters from the universe though.
We still read comics. We even pay for some again these days...Got a nice little collection now. Aside from a few, what we read is mainly outside of the big two these days.
*searching and searching for old-skool sierra type adventure games....Quest for glory...etc....they were cool....as were alot of the old-skool games...
It got to a stage we'd looked up, downloaded, and played them all, or the ones we wanted to, to a point of being content. Been there, done that, still somewhat fond memories. It's hard though with what time does to games when you're a decade past them.
*Going to horror sites, and general movie sites... watching "upcoming" trailers.shit....
These days it's either reddit or imdb. Trailers are everywhere. Nobody doesn't know an entire film before they've watched it.
Horror sites, well, we are still here...it's the only one that's ever had a community worth a damn, and the only one we feel home at.
I'm drawing a blank here....
hope u enjoyed the read...

Took up cycling recently. A really healthy thing :) highly recommend. Btw, that is a great remedy for insomnia. Also started to study modern skin care products. At the moment I am focused on this (https://alitools.io/en/showcase/expigment-hydroquinone-4-cream-skin-whitening-skin-lightening-skin-melasma-treatment-30g-1oz-original-fast-shipping-10000101216359) cream.
