It's gotten good ratings everywhere it seems (except for a few people who probably don't like horror) and I really want to see it but now I'm afraid I'll be disappointed.

kung-fu-jesus

its defenitly gonna get "R".

it looks similar to hostile which is "R", and its gonna be far more grusome than saw 2 and that was "R".

took to long to get started. and dotn give me the character development excuse, because there was NONE (besides a cheesy romantic connection attempt).

umm..

and also, i think the movie should have ended 15 minutes earlier.

So if it didnt take so long to get going, and if the movie ended a lil earlier. It would have been awesome.

Posher778
12-26-2005, 06:10 PM
well, they did that for *cough* character development (dont shoot skoof) but.... does anyone no where i can get a full spoiler, basically read the movie, i cant see it till i can rent it, cause the parental units.. you no... are beings parental unit nazis.

Okay, I have a friend that really isn't in to torture (yeah, I know she's retarded) Anyway, is Wolf Creek anything like Saw II? Because I dragged her to see that and she didn't speak to me for like a week. Does this movie sort of leave it up to your imagination like TCM or is it more about trying to make people feel sick?

Seems like most people were disappointed in this movie... I guess I will just wait for this movie to come out on DVD. Next week I am definitely gonna see Hostel though.

That's just it; there is no torture whatsoever in the movie.

I saw this shit Friday night...

And "shit" is an appropriate term of description.

Lousy.

Awful.

Gimme back my 8.50.

He only kills three people...

And two are with a rifle. Too fuckin fast.

The other one (kill), I'll admit...is pretty nice.

But an hour and 40 minutes for 1 good kill?

Blah!

Hostel better not let me down like this one did!

Sick_As_Fuck

I'd seriously rather watch Hostel's trailer than the whole Wolf Creek movie again.

i swear i heard that one of the girls gets her fingers chopped off.

maybe not.

i could probably have taken that movie and added stuff to make it better. like, get him to chop off the girls fingers  and i think they should have one of the friends have to hurt another friend or he would kill them both right there

RavageRitual

It sounds like torture, but its not a turture scene. If you want me to spoil it for you I will, otherwise, I think you should go check it out.

spoil it, im not going to theaters anyway, what else happens to the other kids. i no the guy get nailed to the wall, and the girl gets stabbed in the car. and one gets shot in the head or something, i just dont no what he does to them before they escape

RavageRitual

First of all you dont see him do anything torture wise to any of them. The movie makes you think shes tortured because shes tied to a pole and is pretty bloody. But None are seen being tortured.

Their is one scene where the one girl is trying to find an escape by getting in one of the cars, when she turns it on shes stabbed in the back by the killer. she then gets out and staggers around. Then thiers a panik and the girl reaches up for him and he swings her kinife and a few of her fingers fly off.

Then thiers that girl that gets shot in the back, thats it.

Like I said; there's no torture in the movie whatsoever.

i think that just being there would be torture enough.

it does have a cool setting if the pictures ive seen are correct, pretty isolated. but i think maybe ill just rent it and see

you forgot that the one chick got her spine severed.

but i thought it was a great film, the fact the thing really happend( not exactly the same but close) didnt hurt.

but i think the best part was the old auzi, in my opinion was one of the best horror heavys( really creepy sadistic fuck) in the last 10-15 years easy

"wolf creek" was boring and lame. i was very disappointed because it got all this hype and ended up being an awful waste of an hour and a half.

Suggestion: instead of seeing this movie, rent "boggy creek 2" just as terrible, but less expensive.

I was going to rent this movie but after reading a few of these reviews, Im gonna save my 4 bucks and skip this movie and just wait for Hostel next week. I guess Wolf Creek was really bad.

Posher778
04-12-2006, 12:27 PM
I didn't think it was all that bad... at least it was more realistic than most horror movies.

BH14
04-16-2006, 08:47 AM
Well, I picked up this movie out of bordemn. I had very low expectations for this movie because of these reviews. It was ok and better than I thought. The first half of the movie was so damn slow and boring. It was a waste of time and it was like the director just wanted to kill some time. Then it picked up and built a little suspense. The ending was abrupt and lame. Its worth a rent I think but its no where near to "The Hills have Eyes" remake. I think this movie and Hostel fall short and both could have been better.

It definetly took a while before anything happened, but once it did, it became alot better. I think the Australian Psycho was a refreshing change, but they could have taken it a lot further then they did.

I thought the movie was terrible. I had hope at the beginning because the one girl seemed smart and there would a cat and mouse thing going, but somewhere she got really dumb and it ruined it for me. I have some questions to ask about the movie?
Don't read on if you haven't seen it and want to see it.

Why did the killer tie up the girl's hands in front of her body? If I want to tie up someone, I would tie their hands behind their back.

If you had a killer, who was going to torture and rape your best friend, passed out in front of you. Would you:

a. Bash his head in with the butt of the rifle.
b. Reload the rifle and shoot him in the head.
c. Grab one of the other guns on the table and shoot him with it.
d. Hit him in the back a couple of times with the stock of the rifle.

If you guessed d you win the idot award.

Anyone know why she climbed down the pit. Did she think she would find a car down there?

At any point did she even think about looking for the guy. She really forgot about him really quick. And why the hell did it take him so much longer to wake up?

How the hell did the killer know which car she would get into? Was he a psychic serial killer? There were like four or five cars.

Whatever happened to the handgun she found and took the time to find bullets for?

Just a few questions, I have more but I thought these were enough. The movie was a bore, and I hate any movie where the victims act so idiotic.

Sick_As_Fuck

Well supposedly all that shit really happened so I guess you can chalk it up to standard human stupidity. But yeah, the movie sucked dick.
