I dont think he should seek to kill himself.

Games & movies don't kill people..
But don't forget how old this kid is & don't forget how many movies/games his parents have let him play.
I can't remember seeing many horrors movies @ 12 years of age (I may have caught the odd 1 at a friends house).
I wasn't even allowed to see terminator 2 until I was in my early teens:(
To me, freddy movies are comedies & pretty badly made 1's...but..I don't expect a 12 year old to think the same way as myself.
I believe his parents should have kept an eye on his school work & social life...that is what affected him most, imo.
No 12 year old kid should be carrying a knife to school & thinking of using it.
His problems go far beyond horror movies & video games.
I've seen plenty over the years & none have made me feel like killing people.
Evil voice: Kill them! I want you to kill them all!
Kid: Who is this?!
Evil voice: Kill them all..
Kid: Satan....is that you?
Evil voice: No. It'sa me-a, Mario!
