The other day, I was sitting in bed, trying to go to sleep but, something was on my mind. I just have to say this to sombody so just listen. I was starting to question mine, and everyone elses meaning on this planet, are wee all just here because of some series of event that lead to our creation or is there a speritual being that created us indevidualy, all diffrent, and now he cares for each and every one of us even after all the all-nighters he pulled created the billions of human being in the world....
Is there such thing as kindness, or all we all just to greed to sit down with fellow men and care, have feeling, and have the ability to creat a world without war and peace will be spread, can we all get along to reach a common goal...
If we die, do we go somewhere else or are we trapt in the ground to rot? Are we in hell now, and if we are, does the counteer part, heaven exist?.....
What is space, or the simple atom, are we an atom on some giant, superior creature, and do our atoms carry living things, and there atoms?....
Are we just doomed to walk around aimlessly or is there a reason we are here? Have we fuffilled any reoson for living, and we have, what is it?
DOSENT THIS BOTHER ANYONE ELSE?

i fucking hate thinking about that stuff. scares the living shit outta me. DONT THINK ABOUT IT! dont question it. youll never find out, so why try? this kinda shit has haunted me my whole life, but i have learned to ignore it. dont let it bother you. live it up. do crazy shit and have a fun life while it lasts.

You weren't by any chance, tripping on any hallucinogens, were ya? Those tripping times are the only times I recall getting myself worked up thinking abot stuff like that, but by the end of the night a buddy and I had pretty much solved all of the world's problems and mysteries. (Obviously not really, but as far as we were concerned under the influence of potent drugs, we did.)
Anyways, the answers to all of your questions can be found inside the mescaline of a peyote plant or the psylociban of a magic mushroom. Not that I endorse drugs or anything...

Everybody is immortal in a sense. Energy that infuses every cell of our bodies cannot be created or destroyed and when you die it leaves and will at some point becomes part of something else. However, when it comes to being self-aware/conscience whatever, we're fucked when the time comes.......fade to black.

You have a point there, bwind22. Appropriately, take Castaneda as an example. You don't need to read all his books to learn about an entirely different plane of existence. Beings existing in a world that we cannot perceive ordinarily. Our own perception of ourselves as mere flesh and spirit is overturned. And we question the validity of such claims.
The problem is that the experience is subjective. If I chewed on peyote, my experience would be altogether different from what he writes about. But the bottom line is, how do we know whether or not the experience is real?
There is also the issue of the person who experiences. The capacity to interpret, understand, and draw something profound and of value from the experience lies inside him/her.
My point merely being that if indeed our existence ends with death, then what is there to do but "live it up"? That's one way to look at it. To hell with everything, I'm just going to die anyway. So, I'll do as I please while I'm at it.
Once again, it's subjective. You decide what you do with your life. You can live it up, or you can create some meaning by choosing a path that has a heart.
If while hiking up a mountain, I'm tying my shoelaces and a boulder happens along to end my existence...I'm aware that I tied my laces deliberately, elegantly. The best way that I could.
Not the "elevated" analogy, I know. But it suffices in my opinion.

I don't think anyone has the answers you need merchant.
But I do know that if you continue this line of thought,it can cause some serious depression.
You need to go do something for yourself-just you,that makes you happy right now.
And then you can tackle the 'why in the universe' questions.
I am really concerned when someone starts dwelling on this stuff because I started that when I was younger and it took 2 years to get out of that darkness.
And for your info-yes,there are good people out here.
We just get buried by all the shiney nasty people.

Merchant, good questions. Luckily for us there have been those that have spent their entire life trying to answer those. A good place to start is looking into what they have to say about the subject.
Ignorance will only lead to despair if you are sincerely questioning these issues and are unable to just "enjoy the ride". Regardless of what you read, whether you agree with it or not, you will better understand how to frame your questions and search for the answers.
Find some websites on philosophy, science and poetry. Pick up the names of some major contributors to each and start reading.
A good place to start (IMO)...

Everybody thats been put on this earth ..has been put here for a reason .

Like heaven and hell..
example ..from the day we are born we are all preened for something constructive
so we can contribute to todays society..like the working ant..its like a ying and yang thing..ppl make cars..
cars need roads...roads need to be constructed..constructing needs planning.
Then we have those who beleive that they had been brainwashed so refuse to acknowledge thier existance or anybody elses lives are worthwhile so set about destroying the hard work of others.
We all leave our mark one way or the other.
I think once our worth has been all used up ..its time for us to go and move aside
for the next.

See...I used to worry and obssess about shit like this...
When you look at it my way, you'll see that the only bad part about death, is what those we leave behind have to go through in our abscense.
Here's the things I tell myself every time these thoughts about mortality come to mind
*In life, there's more bad than good IMO...so in death, you flush away more bad experiences and memories than good ones, sure, this doesn't make anything seem better, but, at least you shake off the negativity of life.
*If it is the "worst case scanario", and we just fade away into nothing, no cohesive thought, no memory, no "being", then at least we won't be around to give a fuck about it.
*You can't remember the time before you were conceived, right?
I'm guessing that you can't remember the time before you came into existence either...death must be pretty much just like that...and I personally have nothing to complain about during the time before I came into being, if death is just the same, no big thing. Maybe we have no memory of before we came into existence because we have ALWAYS been here, maybe we're eternal in the first place? I mean, NOBODY can remember coming into existence, right? Nobody. What are the odds of that?
*Think about it....absolutely nothing....impossible to comprehend, be it as an energy form dispersing across the galaxy, or some kind of residual consciousness, we simply must go on to...something...
*MAYBE, just MAYBE there's some fact to what many call "religion", I mean...when you look at it, a lot of them DO contain different versions of the same stories and messages.
AND AT #1: There's fuck-all you can do about it. All living things "perish", just do more right than wrong in life, and in death, if there is more than what our human minds are capable of perceiving, you'll be ok, and if there's not, again - you won't be around to give a fuck.
In closing, people should be good to eachother.
Have kids, they're part of you, so you've gotta be part of them, right?
Don't leave your family in debt, give more than you take, and if you only ever go on within the memories of others, make sure it'll reccollections that you were overall, a good person.
Death is not worth obssessing about, it only makes your life suck.

Then do something that won't be forgotten.
Do you think JFK or Martin Luther King or Ghandi or Neil Armstrong will ever be forgotten? Of course not.
Why not? Because they did something with their lives.
Do you think they sat around wasting their lives pondering things that can never truely be known? Or do you think they just went out there and did something remarkable?
What makes them any more special than you or me? The only difference between the people that are remembered and those that are forgotten is that the ones in the first group actually went out and did something worthy of remembering.
I'm not saying you have to go change the world (Although we could use it) but if being forgotten is one of your big fears (Which I think it pretty obviously is.) then just do something to be rememberded. Write a book, make a movie, get in to politics, have a kid, bury a time capsule... Any mark you can leave on this planet that will be here after you're gone will allow you to remembered for years to come.
