I heard they might be coming out with a new sleep away camp and just wondering if anybody knows anything about this?

Yeah, at least it's a sequel and not a remake.

I'm pretty sure that they started making the film, but that they stopped production, and they aren't going to finish it...I could be wrong...but that's what I heard.

my gf got me the 3 dvd box set.
Ive never seen any of those films.
I know the "shocker" ending though(for pt 1).
What should i expect?
Are thse films fun in a friday th 13th kinda way?

I have just seen number one...I have number 3 and 4 too...but will not watch them until I get number 2....
...number 1 is a little overrated by some horror fans...its dumb, bad acting, not gory, bad story ...yeah and a shocking end....but it is watchable in a strange kind of way....

Ok, i saw pt 1 last night.
The whole movie was a blast..total fun.
I love the "campy" horror flicks like F13(originals) and sleepaway camp.
BUTT..the ending was soo quick.
We find out the secret ..and then boom...its over.
and angelas mom pissed me off.
Im expecting alot more fun and cheese in the second + 3rd one.

yea that lady was annoying, but the movies were good I thought. The styles were excellent.

I don't find it 'disturbing'. No movie is disturbing, just interesting.
Trying to guess who the killer was at camp was interesting too.
Wasn't a fave though.
