list your favorite bad guys here and why you love them

-Mars (Hostage) crazy as hell. just plain physco and messed up in the head. love him.

-Henry (Henry: Portrait of a serial killer) calm, cool, and crazy. he is very quiet but is not messed around with.

- Sherrif Wydell (The Devils Rejects) Not really a bad guy, but he could sure as hell be considered one. Total bad ass.

Kevin Costner's character in 3000 Miles to Graceland.

That shit was just fun.

Frank from Blue Velvet. He's just utterly batshit insane, and it's compelling to watch.

Michael from the Godfather. One of the best examples of a villain as the protagonist.

Ryunosuke from the Sword of Doom. Pure evil in cinematic form. Tatsuya Nakadai rivals Pacino as Corleone in his portrait of an absolutely soulless man.

That was what was so cool about that movie: the irony.

We were rooting for the "bad guys" and against the "good guys".

Love it.

Yeah, I saw that movie with my roommates and at the end I said, "I'm pissed Wydell didn't get his revenge." and they totally disagreed. Why WOULDN'T you want him to, those fuckers murdered his brother....

Well technically he did, mother FF shot his brother and he killed her much more painfully so I'd say that's his revenge right there. I did think Wydell was a cool character and although I doubt it could've been any better of an ending I wouldn't have had a problem with Wydell coming out alive.

Krug. Him carving his name into the girl's chest is the most asshole-ish thing I've ever seen in a horror movie.

Also, the guy in the suit from Versus, before he turned into the crazy bug zombie.

The scene where they shoot the one prisoner is one of my favorite movie deaths ever. It's so fucking awesome I can't even describe it. It's such an obvious and cool thing to do, I don't know why they never did that in a zombie movie before...

Noc, that Cenobite/Pokemon avatar kicks ass.

I kinda like Agent Smith in The Matrix and the evil Prince Koura in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad. Both a lot of fun.

Thanks. I thought it was hilarious, myself. Another great villain would be Klaus Kinski's portrayal of Dracula in Herzog's Nosferatu. Totally subverts the vampire myth, making him a pathetic creature, rather than a feared predator... yet still utterly menacing.
