I've been hearing stuff on and off about this movie. The last thing I heard was that the original Ghostbusters were going to pass on their "work" to a younger bunch. Then I heard that Akroyd and Ramous had been working on a script with Ritman but it never fell through.
I don't think we really need another Ghostbusters, but since the first 2 are 2 of my favorite movies I'd probably see #3 if it came out.

Really? I looked at it and it looked like it had less features that the first release on DVD which is what I have. Plus I thought that since I already had then on DVD, why buy it again?

i really like the 2 films.
i have the second film in dvd. wat annoys me is it does not have special features.
my favourite is the second film.
and i wish and hope that they would make a third (3) film.
the thing is i think they took to long to make a 3 film so the same actors would be old and new characters would spoil it.

The 1st was better, IMO, but Viggo in #2 had one of the best quotes of all time-
Death is but a door. Time is but a window. I will be back.

I agree.
2 is actually close to a copy of 1 b/c its the same plot, a super ghost is going to destory the earth and the only ones who can stop him are the Ghostbusters. The only difference is the relationship with Peter and Dana is progressed and Louis and Jenie have the hotts for each other. Other than that the movies are the same, they even get arrested again, and have to see the same major for help again.
So #1 is better by far.

man leave my grammer alone :(
for me the sec ond one is better because there are more characters and the plot with viggo is cool
they can make a third one with the return of viggo

Only rumors. Ritman had sat down with Ramis and Akroyd but they couldn't agree on a script. The main premise that they were going to be working off of was that the original Ghostbusters would be dragged into "hell" or ghost world as I saw it printed, and there they would face a ghost worse that Goozer. I guy like the father of Goozer or something. And then it would be up to the new guys to save them. Some of this sounds really stupied but that was the last I read on one of the Ghostbusters web sites.
