I had a big argument with one of my best friends while whaching Army of Darkness. Now I say, the only way way the Evil dead series gets a sequel is if Bruce Cambell and the Original director work on it, now im curious, what do the good folks at Horror.com think?

Sould there be an Evil Dead Sequel?

thats not entirely true. ED2 was intended to be a sequal, but problems with 'rights' from ED1 etc ment, ED2 turned out as a remake of ED1

I'm probably in the minority here but I would have been perfectly content had the original Evil Dead been the one and only Evil Dead. It's a great low-budget, fun horror movie. The remake is alright, but I truly did prefer the original. And Army Of Darkness? Meh. *shrug* Another sequel? Not for me, thanks.

I'd say no, unless they went in the direction Army of Darkness went. What I mean is the comic tone of the film. Personaly I liked Army of Darkness better than the other 2. But thats just me.

yeah army of darkness was great. But it would be good if they made one with a more serious tone. Just get into the suspence and horror. maybe it'll work maybe not, maybe people like the evil dead seriescause of the humour in it.

I say no. There are too many movies that begin to suck big time with all of the stupid sequels and remakes. If you're gonna make a sequel, make it when you can still get the original cast. Same goes for remakes. No original cast, means no good.
