The 25th. Anniversary Collectors edition of Cannibal Holocaust was released last week. I had it on order for a few weeks and picked it up the day it arrived. unbelievable! Excellent release!

This is a limited edition of 111,111 DVD's. I have number 7280, so they may be getting hard to locate. Anyone interested in this sub-genre should pick this one up immediately! I paid + thirty bucks for it.

*This is the completely uncut and uncensored directors cut! Nothing missing!!!
*The DVD is completely restored by Hi-def 16x9, and has a new stereo remix along with the original mono mix.
*Audio commentary by Ruggero Deodato and one of the stars (Robert Kerman).
*Has selected on-camera commentary.
*A one hour Italian documentry "The Making of Cannibal Holocaust" with rare behind the scenes footage.
*On camera interview with R. Deodato, R. Kerman and Gabriel Yorke.
* Theatrical Trailers.
*Extensive gallery of stills and poster art.
*The original Shooting script.
Necrophagia "Cannibal Holocaust" music video
*Liner notes by Chas. Balun.

Cool. I should look into getting a copy. :) lol@Necrophagia. I think that was the very first band to do death metal songs based on old horror films. :)

I was thinking about picking this up before last Monday. The reason I say before is because I had never seen the film but thought it seemed interesting from the stuff I read about it. Last Monday in my history of horror films class we watched it. It is the most disturbing film I have ever seen. I didn't care too much for the actual killing of live animals thing. I'm not an animal activist and I leave eating meat, but that was just too much. I don't know if I would be able to watch this movie again. It's too bad since it wasn't a bad film, just really disturbing.

Isn't the the movie that's supposed to be regarded as a "true snuff film"?

lol I just mentioned it only because that's what I've read online and what I've heard from people. :) Personally, I just think it's nothing more than a rumor.

Yes please don't, or he might do another little poo in his potty and show us it again.

Subtle as a suicide bomber.

i'm proabably gonna get flamed for saying this but even though 42nd street freak was a bit over the top almost to the point of obsesion he did make some valid points & in the past i've found him really helpfull when looking up films.
